The universe is full of stuff. And some stuff is certainly more useful and more necessary than others. There are things that we need and have, then there’s stuff that we know we need, but don’t have, and then there’s stuff we know we don’t need.

But wait, there’s more. There’s also a fourth category—the stuff we are certain nobody on this planet really needs but for some reason exists. This is what Twitter has been discussing in a recent viral trend under the hashtag #StuffThatShouldNotExist.

Recently people started naming things that should not exist, but for some unknown reason are a thing. Besides all those taking a jab at Twitter’s image centering AI and everything that is wrong with the world, they have also shared pictures of things like carpets in bathrooms, Nicholas cage sequin pillows, and everything else that is either creepy, ugly or just plain useless.

Bored Panda has compiled a list of some of the best entries in this new challenge, which you can peruse below. And while you’re doing that, why not also leave an upvote and comment under the ones you enjoyed the most!

These are illegal in Korea. (Still many people use them, but they're urged to replace them)

It's actually kind of a cool idea when you think of it... But I wouldn't use it lol

This one is trashy, but I actually like the idea of a good looking design for menstrual products. I once was surprised by cute heart shapes on the front and a cloud in the back (where it meets the ass) and I found it adorably hilarious and it lifted my mood. Now I always search that brand on purpose.

I agree. I have reusable pads and I always keep the prettier ones for special occasions.

Considering all the indignation about the plastics entry above, shouldn't everyone switch to reusable everything as much as possible?

Someone's been peeking at the diaper wraps for babies....seems a good application, though...just not the name nor the imaging....nicer images as some (below) have said seem more in keeping with the bad mood produced by this event unless of course, an unwanted pregnancy rids you of this monthly ordeal which by that time would, instead, be cherished producing relief!

Or the contraceptive pill can too, or having your ovaries removed...bit drastic but it worked for me. Of course I had to have them removed

They can be made from a variety of materials, mine are made out of bamboo and they are soooo soft and ridiculously absorbent in comparison to the plastic crap.

O M G - As if we don't have enough junk to spend our money on...this would be a great gag gift, but can't imagine anyone using it. iI don't expect to see this on my WalMart shelves soon. GOOD GRIEF!

Softer, absorb 4x what the plastic ones can and you just toss them into the washing machine. I've been "surprised" and had to wear plastic ones I've had before I switched over. They are rough and libel to spill over on my first day if I don't change it 4 bloody times. I like that I can wash them clean and not have my blood mummified in some landfill for 500 years. Ewwwww.

I think these are cool. Creepy toys aren't a bad thing, people. They aren't meant for little kids who'd be scared by them. Also, way less scary than some dolls...Like the clown from Poltergeist, lol.

I bought my dad a pen holder many moons ago which was a man bent over with his pants down. You put the pen in its butt and the man lifts his head and moans in many different ways.
