In 2010, illustrator Alex Noriega was having some problems at work and so he started a blog as a way to figure out where he was going wrong. "I wanted to put on paper all that I had learned in life as simple as possible and try to see if what was happening around me made any sense," he says. Although it didn't help him to make sense of anything, it did however lead to this beautiful series of illustrations.
His blog is called Stuff No One Told Me (SNOTM for short), but while Alex may have learned life's lessons the hard way, he's making it easy for the rest of us by teaching us everything we need to know. His illustrations range from sobering reminders of things we often overlook in life to useful nuggets of zen-like wisdom to help us to become more conscientious humans. Take a look for yourself, and don't say no one told you.

I think it's mostly a sign of confidence. Everyone has ideas, most people consider their own ideas dumb and let it end there, creative people believe and let them flow
Fem flade flødeboller på et fladt flødebollefad <--- knock yourself out ????
Generalities are generally a bad idea. And BONERS? Nah, just sticky britches.
Like the gordian knot. Something there just is no easy solution and you just have to force your way through it. :-D
Now I REALLY want to life in a world where bunny hats are hot trend
I like how the little bubble is drawn like a sperm.. I see what you did there. Also, ew.
No, they aren't... but they do tend to influence the way you see the world, your ability to trust others, etc.
They are in my family. We stick together, work through it together and hopefully solve it together.
So true! My family is a good one, but we are many, you can't take on everyone's problems.
If my own family's problems aren't mine, then who's problems are they??
Sorry, dude, but the child's problems and the dog's problems ARE your problems, as these are beings that are incapable of solving their problems by themselves. Cut off adults, but the children and pets (especially your OWN!) are yours to keep!
Sorry, but the child's and the dog's problems ARE YOUR PROBLEMS, because you must protect them against abuse and ill care!
your family is part of who you are ! not saying to carry them on your shoulders but to to be there for them at least the most when they need you
I agree, but some families make their problems, your problems. That's when they start fighting with each other and you're forced to run out of the room due to all of the yelling and screaming. Yep, that's my family.
Actually, I sent my kid to school to learn to read, write, do arithmetic, etc.... I expected him to learn about life at home.
I think everyone understands that... there will always be someone worst off than you, but that shouldn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to complain or feel bad ever without feeling guilty. No matter how well off someone might be, they will still have their own problems, get stressed, and need to vent. Feeling inadequate doesn't mean you're not grateful for what you do have
This is annoying ...we all have friends like that. And on the rare occasions YOU need a favor from THEM... they are "too busy"
It's funny how the people over-analyzing this are proving the point of the message.
This is a good one. I think most people go through that stage where they enjoy calling themselves freaks, thinking they're so much diffrent than everyone else. But really, you're not. You're just as normal as everyone else.
On the flip side of that, I have learnt one does need to take themselves seriously enough to actually be proud of achievements and keep track of them, even if no one else does.
I don't have a d**k, so I cannot relate to this situation :-P think I'll go and spread some anger, then
no wonder there are a few contradicting ones here.. but that's ok..
unless you are truly smart and some jealous f**k just think you trying to be smart, because you know.. theyre dumb and jealous little b***h lol
Like that time I tried using Photoshop on a Mac and I was like, "WHY ISN'T CONTROL+Z WORKING?!"
You've clearly never worked in customer service. Squeaky wheel ALWAYS gets the oil.
Does anyone not see the flaw in #16? Man on the edge of the roof with a blimp saying "Just do it?"
Flaw? People follow brands blindly, we are consumers. Doing what we are told and buying what we are told, giving it little conscious thought. #16 might be shocking, but I think it's clever.
Load More Replies...I would add "don't make any of these into a rule" All are nice, many are questionable
What I discovered to be the most important to understand myself in life is an intimate, intense & lasting relationship with the Living God himself.
Well as long as the two of you are happy and keep it safe, sane and consensual ....
