Have you ever wondered how many pictures have been taken of you without you realizing it? Tourists, passersby or even street photographers, be it on purpose or not, might have included you in their camera frame when documenting their lives at some point. Maybe a photograph with you in it is hanging on someone’s wall or hiding in a family album, or perhaps you are even being showcased in a gallery or a museum.

In today’s article, we want to share some street photographs that have been featured by the Street Photographers Foundation, a platform dedicated to emerging photographers, artists, and designers alongside celebrated professionals to showcase their works. In their pictures, photographers captured random incidents and encounters in public places that are interesting and sometimes fun to look at.

The Street Photographers Foundation is entirely dedicated to street photography. Its purpose is to encourage new artists to showcase their works by offering a platform where they can do that.

On the foundation's website, it is said that "the subjects explored are broad, in terms of concepts, styles, and techniques. We want to explore the limits and possibilities."

Besides showcasing photographs of talented artists, the Street Photographers Foundation also organizes Street Photography Awards.

The Series winner of Street Photography Awards 2021 was Dimitri Mellos with his series "Oblivious City". Maude Bardet was announced as the winner of the single image category with "Goat auction in Nizwa". You can check out the winning photographs and works by other finalists by clicking here.

Among the photographers who contributed to this book, one can find the works of Richard Sandler, Matt Stuart, Alberte Alonso Pereira, Andrés Cañal and others. For those who are interested, the book can be found here.

The creative team of the Street Photographers Foundation consists of Masoud Gharaei, who is an Iranian photographer and the founder and editor-in-chief of the foundation, Nesam Keshavarz (art director), Bita Houshmand (creative director), Pouria Sarhadi (art communications) and Yasaman Dehmiani (general manager).

Trivia: he isn't the one screaming in the picture. It's his reaction to hearing a scream

This one makes me kinda sad. A lot of those old carousel horses were hand-carved.

The horses kept circling the fire hoping to create a wind so to put it out.

I can honestly say that I have never seen a photo of a carousel on fire before.

Just when you thought it was safe to go the the circus, things started getting out of hand. Hold on for your life as you are strapped on Hell's Merry-go-round coming to theaters near you.
