Man Finds A Stray Dog In His Car After Coming Back From The Store

A lot of people say that dogs are very smart animals. We can see proof of that quite often. Dogs often have a sense of situations and people, just like this dog, who picked the right car to sit in.

This pup decided to hang out in this man’s car while he went into the pharmacy. When the man returned, he found the adorable dog and was surprised: “He got into my car without any worries, sat on the seat and didn’t want to leave again,” he told Bored Panda.

The man, whose name is Rodrigo Coelho, decided to take the dog back to his house and try to search for his owners. Rodrigo himself has a few dogs, one of which was not that happy with the newcomer’s arrival. Rodrigo has over 1 million followers on Facebook. His dogs are quite famous on the internet.

The first video of Thor has about 350k views on YouTube and the second one, over 160k. Both of them have a lot of comments, with people wishing good luck to Rodrigo and hoping that the dog would find his owners. Well, their wish came true!

Not long after, the dog’s owners contacted him and he gave back the dog, whose name was Thor! A fitting name for such a mighty doggo.

The owners were relieved to find their dog. Their names are Dayane and Maicon. They were both very thankful to Rodrigo for bringing back their family member.

Thor had run away from home, which was about 8 kilometers (about 5 miles) away, and thanks to Rodrigo, he is back safe and sound! Thor was really lucky to pick such a good person. What do you think about this story? Have you had any similar experiences with stray dogs? Tell us in the comments!

My cat used to try and get in people's cars. He'd chase them down and try to sneak in, like a grey ninja. I can't even count the number of calls I got along the lines of "your cat is inn my car and won't leave..."

Good man, how wonderful to know that he really cared about the dog. If it were not for him might never dog would find his family.

Years ago a pregnant stray cat showed up on my doorstep. A few days later she walked into my house as if she owned the place. Happily, I did find good forever homes for all the little ones, and had mama fixed.

My family went to see a dog we were thinking about rescuing at a dog rescue ranch. She immediately jumped straight into the car without much interaction. She knew she would rather be with us than there. Everyone loves her.

Our dog ran away one time and did the same. She jumped in a car and wouldn't leave again. Luckily she was chipped, so they found us very easily.

This is how I found( or my son found) my dog Roamer. Him and his friends were walking around Covington, it's a small city close to our house. He said this dog just started following him, all the way back to his car. He called and told me about him and said do not bring him home, I already had two dogs, and he was leaving for the Marine Corp n a few months. Well he brought him anyway. And now don't know what I would do without my Roamer. Such a sweet boy!

While I'm happy the dog was reunited with his owners, there's no excuse for not having tags on your dog and a microchip.

EXTREMELY irresponsible owners. Thor didn't have a collar or a tag with contact info. I hope Rodrigo called Animal Control to report these people, they should have to pay a very stiff fine and if it ever happens again Thor should be taken away from them.

I'm just wondering just how the dog got in. I'm presuming windows were down. Why would anyone not roll up their windows... and lock their doors. I live in a rural area, with few neighbors and low crime rate. My car is locked at all times. It's become a habit so I don't forget to lock up when I'm out.

There are actually some parts of the world that people can actually leave car doors unlocked & windows opened without fear. Yeah, it's pretty amazing.

I wonder how it got into the car? Does the dog have thumbs and was the car unlocked? Or was there an open window? Or did someone abandon their dog in a random persons car? (which is secretly better then tying them to a tree somewhere)

Frankly a non-event. Did someone put Thor in a car he was near? This happens often. Neighbors find a dog, post it on local social media and/or have the animal's microchip scanned and they all lived happily ever after.
