Stray Cats Find Drain Pipe Holes And Now They Are Having The Time Of Their Life
A Japanese photographer named Nyan Kichi dedicates a good chunk of his time out and about on the streets, capturing the beauty of stray cats – and there’s one particular spot with drain pipe holes that he loves to go.
There, he can find loads of strays who treat the area with lots of pipe holes as their playground. See, those kitties don’t need fancy and expensive toys to have some fun.
But, if you think they would eventually get bored of jumping in and out of the holes – think again. The photographer even got himself a prop to tease them with – and now the whole scene looks just like the Whack-a-Mole game.
To follow these energetic and athletic strays of the Japanese streets, make sure to check the photographer’s Instagram page.

Share on FacebookMy own cat loved to pop in and out of an abandoned rabbit warren near my house.
I initially read this as "poop in". Probably also true.
Load More Replies...well japan a firt world country , i sure there are people that take the cats to get fix in the vet or some organization . in my college there was a group of volunteers that take care of the strays in the campus , from cleaning poo to feed and take them to the vet for check ups , there was like a list because many girls wanted to volunteer .
even feral's need someone to take care of them spay/neuter release oh and feed and water!!!!!!
You must not have ever owned a cat before. A feral cat is rather good at taking care of themselves depending on the area. Birds, rats, mice, squirrels, chipmunks, snakes, etc. Cats can hunt and eat all of them, unless declawed. Water isn't hard to find, except in desert. Which is why they thrive and spray/neuter release programs exist. Maybe educate yourself?
Load More Replies...just great who needs toys when you have a whole playground of holes in the ground and yes they are well fed and looked after, but freedom is there habitat and look at the faces they are having the time of their lives
LOVE the photo with the photographer in the background. Very nice!
