Conejo must have been abandoned, else he would have been feral. I'm glad he found a good forever home. Years ago a pregnant stray singled me out as her next human.

animals are smarter than we sometimes give them credit. I also think they have an instinct regarding who they can trust. my son used to tell me that he thinks there is an invisible magical mark on my door (like in the book, The Hobbit) that tells animals they can come to me. I have found so many sick and dying animals literally on my steps or in my garage. all have never hurt me, no matter what I had to do to treat them or take them to the vet. and, yes, they were all adopted by me. when my dad asked me what I was going to do with one dog that dragged itself into my garage to die, I told him I was keeping it because no one would take care of her like I would as I knew what she had been through.

very cute, but technically he didn't point to the food. He just knew what she was picking out and was trying to take it from her (which personally I think is cuter). My cat does the same thing.

Its a bobtail!!! I love bobtail cats. They bring good fortune to people they choose to live with. Us in asian countries often display bobtailed cats in our shops to attract good business. Of course i dont use figurines coz i got 2 bobtails.
