The Way This Stranger Saved A Mom With Twins From Being Kicked Off A Flight Will Melt Your Heart
When on a plane, 99% of us try to stay as far away from babies as possible, but this story is about the 1%. Mackenzie Murphy, a passenger on a flight like any other, overheard a flight attendant telling one woman that she and her baby twins wouldn’t be allowed to travel. You see, the struggling mom had to hold both babies since they weren’t old enough to sit up on their own. As tensions rose, something unexpected happened, completely restoring Mackenzie’s faith in humanity.
“Moral of the story is when you see people needing help, do the right thing and help them,” Mackenzie summed up. Scroll down to read how a total stranger saved in Murphy’s own words!

Share on FacebookThis is really sweet. Traveling is already exhausting in of itself, and traveling with young children doesn’t make anything easier. What a wonderful thing for that woman to do, and shame on the airline for making a tiring situation worse.
Did she buy a second seat? If so, why did they need to take the car seat? If not, having the car seat would not have mattered. Am I missing something here?
My guess is that she did not buy another seat because you usually don't need to for babies that young. The mom probably thought she would either put one in the car seat if there happened to be extra room or just hold both, not knowing that 1. it would be a very packed flight and 2. she wouldn't be allowed to hold both babies, so neither of her options would work.
Load More Replies...Honestly, WHY NOT INFORM HER ABOUT THAT BEFORE THE FRIGGIN FLIGHT??!?!?!?! IF SHE CAN'T HOLD 2 BABIES THEN WHY THE F**K NOT WRITE THAT IN THE CONDITIONS AT FIRST. WHAT THE F**K.
How were they supposed to know she wasn’t traveling with someone who could hold the duplicate ? It’s up to the traveler to know rules and regulations. The airline has no responsibility to hold your hand. I guarantee this rule is written in the conditions, and honestly this one is just common-sense. Nice of the lady to hold her kid, but I have no sympathy for the mom.
Load More Replies...Fantastic story! I love good people. On a flight I was on a baby was totally losing it. A businessman working on his laptop across the aisle pulled up some baby website and handed his laptop to the mom. She was overcome with gratitude (we all were!) because the baby never made another peep the rest of the flight!
These are all amazing stories. I too cannot believe that this lady was treated this way -- and for a 45 minute flight. insane!
Airlines give zero farks. I hate injecting politics into things but this bullcrap where airlines can do anything to anyone and have essentially ZERO consequences is 100% politics. We pay and reward them for extorting us, lying to us, treating us like c**p, delaying us, abusing us. They destroy, steal or lose our valuables, kill our pets and strand us because they could make a few more dollars on someone else. We pay crazy amounts of money for substandard conditions that are getting lower all the time. It's insanity. Our politicians go above and beyond to make 100% CERTAIN there is no competition or challenge to air travel as it stands today.(Speaking to the American industry as it's the only one I know anything about.)
People on airplanes are usually wonderful about babies!! I've always had people offer to help when I've travelled solo with one of my baby boys. Seatmates held my son when I needed to eat, use the bathroom, or just have a break!
Yo! America. What's up with this United Airlines treating you like sh**. We wouldn't take this in our sh*thole country... Like Seriously. Also America, it scares me that this restores your faith in humanity. This is normal stuff in my country. What sort of Heartless zombies do youhave there anyway? Now I understand the Voting for Donald Trump thing you guys did.
Yo! Non-America. United Airlines is a sh*thole. I don't fly with them. Also, Non-America, I can assure that this is not a "restore your faith in humanity" situation. Helping others out is extremely common in the United States. The title was clickbait. It's also the case that those people who voted for Trump are statistically more likely to be the people who are willing to help others out.
