There are days (weeks?...) when you are really, really not feeling it. Getting out of bed seems like too much work, let alone actually going to your workplace. It requires dressing up, brushing your teeth, or even putting on makeup for some, and you feel like you'll do just about anything to skip the responsibilities of adult life. Luckily, there are really creative people out there who come up with the most elaborate reasons for calling in sick. And as the blues of the dark month of February are starting to hit really hard, it's no wonder that the hashtag #StrangeReasonsToCallOutSick is trending. Not funny at all. The Chinese doctor who has been send to jail cause he was the first to report the virus infection, and forced to sign a confession saying he was wrong is now DEAD. This virus killed him as well as a much larger number than the Chinese authorities wants you to believe. His pregnant wife is also sick as well as his 5 years old son. Police is now installing locker on homes with infected people as there is no more rooms in hospital for them. Doctors have order to treat only mild case, the other have just to keep praying. Still funny? (Oh, And I live there in case you wonder. Only one person by household is allow to go out every 3 days to buy food. Restriction on all supplies... Army in the street to enforce it. ) Please come and join the fun to not be able to work and not getting paid.
No one is making jokes about the virus. Just about the name of the family of viruses. Don't get your panties in a twist. You can care about what happens and make a light-hearted joke about the beer brand.

I didn't finished reading all the comments below since it's full of bashing and provoking thoughts that branches out from the main idea of the post above. Yeah it's sucks! Even here in Philippines, people are in panic mode, everyone's doubting everyone who coughs, sneezes and spits even sighing causes someone to get away because of the terror of being infected though the death toll here is still very low we are very cautious and government is very open about the issue that the world is facing right now. Nothing's funny when hundreds are dying Chinese citizens here are now looked down because they thought every Chinese is a carrier, I hate it when some of my fellow countrymen whose minds are so narrow but I can't blame everyone, we're not that advanced of a country so wide spreading of the virus will decimate millions of people here. We should be strong and help each other instead of being mean. We should stop blaming and instead we should do something about it.

It has to be a horrible situation, and not to get paid on top of it all...I wish there was some way we could help. But will your government allow help? Or assistance to the people who need it most?
