The World’s Largest 43,000 Square-Feet Starbucks Is Opening In Chicago This Fall
Who could be surprised by the fact that Starbucks, one of the world’s most renowned coffee shop brands, is opening yet another coffee shop? Not us. But even if you’re tired of seeing it on every corner wherever you go, they’re offering something you will not be able to take your eyes off of. Soon, the city which is second in line for having the most Starbucks stores will welcome quite an extraordinary store – Starbucks Reserve Roastery.

In 2014, Starbucks opened its first Reserve Roastery in Seattle and since it was a big hit, it was just a matter of time since the company started popping out a lot more of these premium coffee stores.
Today, there are already 6 locations: Seattle, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, Milan, and very soon – Chicago.
In 2017, Starbucks announced plans to turn a closed Crate & Barrel store into its biggest coffee shop yet.
The 43,000 square foot, 4 story building is located in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile retail district and is set to open as a brand new Reserve Roastery on November 15.
It seems that these premium brand roasteries are getting bigger and bigger with each location. Last year, Starbucks opened a dazzling 25,000-square-foot store in Milan and just earlier this year, a new 32,000-square-foot cafe began welcoming coffee enthusiasts.
The new one in Chicago is not only impressive for its size but also for dubbing as a coffee shop, cocktail bar, roastery bakery and what not. While many of the details are saved for the grand opening, it’s clear that this is not an ordinary Starbucks coffee store.

Load More Replies...I've never been there and won't because they pay no tax. Bunch of shits and they're also ruining lots of independent café owners. I seriously don't like this news.
How cute... Starbucks ad disguised as a post. That concept art and single image from the outside is totally enough to justify the "architecture" tag, so the rest of the dozen or so pictures are free to focus on the coffee instead.
I know, right? After Amazon, there seem to be other companies learning about BP. Please, admins and mods, take this bs down.
Load More Replies...So much gold and sparkling ... all of it seems pretentious and reminds me a little of the Trump Tower. ________ Edit: I just googled and found some pictures of the atrium inside of the Tower and it looks like they have (or had) a store in there too trump-atri...7e6dfa.jpg
Wow! Just look at all the international varieties of beans they can burn for you! Costa is far and away the better chain, and I hope Coca Cola will let them invade the US soon. On another note, the main appeal of cafe culture is that it's peaceful and personal, not pimped and populated, so I hope by now everyone understands that Starbucks is for an entirely different sort of customer (brand leech) than most of the readers here who just want a pleasant place to sip.
Or maybe it's for people who want something besides the thing you are mentioning which is in every city and town in the world. Perhaps it also doesn't directly affect you one way or the other.
