Spring is here, and it not only looks good but tastes amazing as well! To prove this, pastry chefs from all over the place have gone online to share their food art in the form of blooming flower buttercream cakes!
The cakes come in different colors, forms, and sizes, but what they do have in common are these vibrant floral toppings. They are made of butter, powdered sugar, food coloring, and sometimes some additional flavoring as well, all of which give them that velvet-smooth texture.

These would be lovely if you could get a copy made in porcelain, that way you could eat the cake and still have a copy to keep

These are all so beautiful! I've always wanted to learn how to decorate cakes, but this is a whole new level of skill. I'm afraid i could never cut into one of these, though! Although they must be beyond delicious :)
I would definitely need two of whichever cake I had! Obviously one of those would be to just keep & marvel at! Lol! The other I would most definitely eat! I'd be fine "destroying" these works of art as long as I had another identical! 😂

I don't know why, but I feel the need for some cake right now! - Those are really beautiful. I would never be able to create something like this and therefor I admire such skills and passion. I am more the clumsy guy, when it comes to filigree art like this. I can do frozen pizza and all kind of burned flavors in the oven!
I would love one for my daughter 50th on August 10th I’ve got all the tools to do it but I’m not clever enough they are so perfect
