Woman Is Heartbroken Seeing People In Restaurants After Her Healthcare Worker Husband Is Forced To Live In A Garage
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, doctors around the globe are put into the frontline of the crisis. They are risking their own health, pushing themselves to limits during long shifts and sacrificing their personal lives to save lives. Without them, many of the vulnerable people wouldn’t stand a chance against the pandemic. Sadly, not everyone is appreciating the sacrifice doctors are making, so they are forced to ask people to assist them in saving lives. Unlike doctors, we don’t have to do much to help them. We are only required to stay home. Compared to the long shifts at crowded hospitals, it’s so much easier to stay at home and keep ourselves occupied, for instance, with our favorite TV series, but it’s just as important.
Recently, a wife of a physician who treats coronavirus patients decided to speak out again people who are ignoring social distancing

Yet not everyone understands the important role each of us plays in handling the crisis. Seeing people in bars, restaurants, and ignoring social distancing prompted a spouse of a doctor who treats coronavirus patients to speak out. Rachel Patzer who is an Emory University epidemiologist and health services researcher revealed the sacrifices her husband is making. Apparently, he had to isolate himself from his whole family, just to avoid the risk of giving them the virus. Rachel admitted that she is saddened by the fact that her husband will not be able to hold and play with his children for an unknown amount of time

After Rachel’s post went viral, many health care professionals responded with the same issue. They are sacrificing their own well being to help others and ask people to do the same.
Many other health care professionals revealed that they are facing the same issue

Share on FacebookWe stay home for them, they stay working for us. The longer people refuse not to social distance, the longer we have to do it.
Everyone who doesn't follow social distancing, unless it's for an emergency, should be punished
You are heroes! This makes me sad, as yesterday, my husband was out walking the dog, and social distancing, and saw a group of teens or just barely older, playing a game in someone's yard, and two Sunni g themselves side by side, without a care in the world. They seem to have no clue, what is happening. Or who, they might infect if even one of them co tracts the virus. None. It makes me sick and sad, their parents who are likely around, and not doing a thing. I am sorry these kinds of people will e responsible for keeping yours and others family members away from you all. My heart and soul are with you. A former nurse who does understand.
Please keep in mind that a lot of scientists and healthcare workers get into the field due to personal experiences with a loved one who was ailing from a medical problem. They want to make a difference..they want to help people. Let's show our gratitude by staying home!
Yes, now everyone saying "caregivers/healthcare workers/teachers" are heroes, thank you very much. And when the crisis have gone, the world will just return to the "normal operation" mode: paying s**t for this people and pouring money for the useless clowns...
I am one less worry for these people. I stay at home and I even don't want to call for food delivery so that some poor delivery guy with family wouldn't have to worry that he'll catch my virus in case I'm one of the asymptomatic people out there. For those people lacking the basic common sense and think they're immune [you're not!] and go around ignoring the warnings......YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM! GET YOUR ASSES OFF THE STREET! DON'T BE A POTENTIAL MURDERER!
you have food for 2 months and i assume you work from home?
