The Internet Is Going Crazy Trying To Find The Camouflaged Snake In This Picture – Can You Find It?
A herpetology student from Florida named Helen just shared a photo of a snake being so blended into nature, it’s a real struggle to find it. The picture was posted with the following caption: “Received this from a fellow HERper this morning. No caption needed, the task was implied: “can you spot the snake?”
So, what are you waiting for – will YOU take the challenge and find the hiding reptile? Helen was kind enough to give a hint: “If y’all haven’t found it yet… Copperhead, aka Agkistrodon contortrix. Cute but venomous, so no touchy!”
Seriously, this snake is the master of camouflage!

People tried hard to find it…
Luckily, the herpetology student was kind enough to provide the answer to those who gave up

Share on FacebookI found it within 30 seconds, but that was sheer luck. Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to spot that copperhead if I was actually on the scene.
I've stepped right over a GIANT snake before without ever realizing it was there. He was dark green and the grass was bright but my mind processed it as a stick until I heard my husband laughing at me. Then I looked down and was startled for a sec, until I saw that it was just a 6 foot long, thicker than my arm, but harmless ratsnake.
Load More Replies...I'm partially color blind, so it was easier for me to spot camouflage here. But there is one thing that has me worried. Where is the snake's head? That is the last thing a snake would cover up before hiding the body.
You can just barely see his eye I believe on the top half, I'm pretty sure the snakes head is just tilted at an odd angle, not covered
Load More Replies...Jo, I saved the picture to my laptop which in a 17 inch laptop, and I had to blow it up bigger than my screen to find it, but I did before I read the article. The picture is too small to see that snake, unless you get lucky and just spot it. I do need glasses btw, not wearing them.
Load More Replies...Nvm I see it now thanks to @Phrashant Karnath saying it's a copperhead.
Load More Replies...Oh no. Oh no no no. I did one of these before and I literally wanted to stab my eyeballs out with a fork
Lol! Found it right away XD Had practice with that log pile picture that was doing the rounds a few months back I guess ;)
It's right there!!!!...j/k I don't know where the hell it is and that's why I don't go in the woods
The image is a bit misleading because it's way bigger than the portion occupied by the snake and the snake itself is partially covered under the leaves, so you can't try to pinpoint part of it, like it's head. It's unfair :D...!
The Camouflage Snake Has Black Stripes Just Look To The Left Middle To Find It
There is no snake. People that say they see it nust think they do cause there is supose to be one so their eyes are playing tricks. When taking a picture people Center the object Indie photo but there is no snake anywhere near the center of the photo I use magnifying glass and it just is not there someone is screwing with us.
I've seen this several times and I still need the highlighted picture to find the snake.
Yes I saw it right away. Live in the woods myself. Always on the lookout.
I see the end of the tail, then the body proceeding upward at an angle toward the NE corner, then it turns back rather sharply to the left, forming the bottom of the "S" shape...it swings back around, completing the "S"....and then I can't see anymore of it. I do not see the head.
Found it in less than 5 seconds. Justed looked for the curves jn the leaf litter.
I live in a jungle with lots of snakes. They don't eat people, so you can walk right by one without seeing it. No problem.
I still can't see it... even with the circle AND zooming in 500% must see my Optician again... :O
I thought it was bigger, if I knew it's so small it was going to be easier for me to find it.
That was not that hard. I managed to find the snake before even scrolling down.
I couldn't find the snake but did find the face of a cat wearing a knitted cap
My bad, the other snake is in the right corner!! There is a second snake!! I did not even see the one marked!
There is another one, because I found it before seeing the marked picture, in the left corner is another snake hiding! I swear!!
Wait a minute, that means there are two snakes!! There is another one in the left corner!!
