A record number of women are serving in the 117th Congress. Kamala Harris is the United States' first female vice president and the highest-ranking female elected official in U.S. history. But even with these significant gains, women—both in the U.S. and around the world—are still facing problems just because of their gender. And TikTok user Leena Jay isn't afraid to talk about them. From body image and sexualization to romantic relationships and child-rearing, she's making videos on everything that resonates with her, and they've already earned her 1.4 million followers.

This Woman Shares Her Bold Points About Stuff Women Have To Deal With, And Here Are Her 20 Best Posts Stop abortion at the source. Visectomies are reversible. Make every man have one. And when he is deemed financially and emotionally fit to be a father. It can be reversed. What's that? Did the idea of regulating a man's body make you feel uncomfortable? Well then mind your freaking business

My wife and I made the decision not to have kids early on in our marriage. After seeing what hell she was going through by taking the pill (migraines) or the Nuvaring (hormones, I think), I made the decision to have a vasectomy (we also researched tubal ligation, but the surgery was MUCH more risky, and the success rate was lower, so this was a no-brainer). Even then, I had to deal with pushback because I wasn't 35 yet, and "what if you change your mind?" Yeah, no. I'm 50 - haven't changed my mind yet. I regret nothing.

Good for you for doing something to help ease your wife's troubles with birth control. You don't hear about that too often.

Also make sure that doctors are allowing women to sterilise themselves if they want. It is almost impossible to get sterilised as a woman unless you have many children.

Everyone who's complaining about how we shouldn't force any man into getting a vasectomy, that's the entire point. We shouldn't do this to men, we shouldn't do it to women either.

How about all men should have this at birth and show ID, proof of income and current pension status before they are allowed to have children. Even allows for women to f**k around as they know they are safe from the embarrassment of having someone else's children.

I've been saying this for years. If men are so against unwanted pregnancies, abortions (and many are anti birth control) then those SAME men should agree to using condoms 100% of the time they engage in sexual intercourse with a woman AND they should be willing to undergo a prophylactic vasectomy which would cut down on unwanted pregnancies just about 100% if you did both. Why is it on the woman to prevent pregnancy?

To be accurate, although it's possible to reverse a vasectomy, fertility is not always restored. The longer the reversal is from the original procedure, the lower the chances of fertility coming back. The urologist told my husband odds are about 80% successful within the first 5 years, and drop off steadily after that. However, there is an experimental product called Vasalgel that is 100% reversible and currently undergoing clinical trials (still with animals, I think)

Don't you just love it when the mindset is "She got pregnant" and not "He deposited his sperm in her" Why is there never any responsibility on the man? And men can deposit sperm in a different woman every time they ejaculate.

Oh my god YES!!! That would solve so many problems! If every man had to get a vasectomy, and then had to be legally allowed to have children, then reverse it. It’s probably the most simple yet out of the box solution.

Vasectomies are reversible in 80% of cases, and the odds of success reduce with time from the original "snip". So I can't vote for rendering 20+% of the male population involuntarily infertile. It's a no and " do your bloody research" from me.

Dont know where you got those numbers from, i found these.. It's estimated that the success rate of a vasectomy reversal is: 75% if you have your vasectomy reversed within 3 years up to 55% after 3 to 8 years between 40% and 45% after 9 to 14 years 30% after 15 to 19 years less than 10% after 20 years

Learn to spell, please. It is Vasectomy. And the chances of a successful reversing of one gets lower for every year you have had one. After 5 years, the odds are it will not be reversible.

First off learn to spell. Vasectomies are reversible only if done soon after the operation. The chances of a success drop every year it is not reversed.

Source: Vasektomie.de, a site that lets you find your doctor if choice: Although vasectomues can be technically reversed with microsurgery, it is a misconception, that it is guaranteed, that the person is fertile again after the procedure. The longer one waits, the less likely. In light if this fact, asking for forced vasectomies is a horrible request against hunanity. Just because other people behave in horrible ways, does not give you the right to do the same to others. No go ahead, and vote me down, hypocrits.

I think the forced vasectomies part was hyperbole to help drive home the point indicated at the end of the post: "What's that? Did the idea of regulating a man's body make you feel uncomfortable? Well then mind your freaking business" Unwanted pregnancies, and related issues such as abortion, are as much a male's responsibility as a female's, yet we as a society absolve men of all responsibility seemingly.

Or how about both sexes have some self control and don't have sex till their both financially and emotionally ready. Its a two way street one doesnt deserve more blame than the other. Unless its rape because i know someone will go what if she is raped? Its not hard just self control and beside limiting the amount of people your sexually active with is better for your health and people respect you more for both sexes

Sex is a way of bonding for many mammals species, including ours. You expect adults to go without sex their entire life? For example if I get oregnant I have 26% more chance of dying and a huge chance of a dangerous miscarriage. I am supposed to be the rest of my life without sex? What about my partner?

Abortion shouldn't be outright banned, BUT this is NOT the same because sometimes it isn't reversible, especially if it's been a while, you're enforcing a surgical procedure on men (rather than banning a surgical procedure, and *most* abortions are a matter of convenience rather than medical need or non-consensual pregnancy.
