Last week, John Krasinski took to Twitter to ask people to share the things that made them smile and feel good recently. Quickly, he was flooded with amazing stories from around the world that happened in the midst of the crisis.

With the help of his followers, Krasinski started a new YouTube show called “Some Good News.”

“We are all going through an incredibly trying time, but, through all the anxiety, through all the confusion, all the isolation, and all the Tiger King, somehow the human spirit found a way to break through and blow us all away,” Krasinski opened his show.

The very first episode started by showing how cities around the world are applauding the doctors and nurses who are relentlessly fighting for the lives of those affected by COVID-19. The second story was about a young girl named Coco who recently won her battle with cancer and was welcomed home with a round of applause from her entire neighborhood.

However, not all of the stories featured on “Some Good News” will make you cry—well, unless it’s from laughter. In case, you didn’t know, the classic sitcom The Office is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
