Meet Aloş, the 2-year-old Van cat from Turkey whose slightly crossed blue and green eyes have made him the newest Internet sensation.
“His eyes are the most beautiful in the world to me,” his owner Burcu Kaynak told Bored Panda. The different coloration of the kitty’s eyes is a result of heterochromia, a condition caused by the relative excess or lack of melanin. “It does not affect his vision at all,” Kaynak added. “People are very interested in him, whether it’s on social media or when walking outdoors.” Aloş already has 10k followers on Instagram and counting!

O Léo também tem a mesma característica mas é perfeitamente normal sem problemas de audição nem de visão. leo-5716bd...8badbe.jpg
I also have a cat with different eyes, but i have it from 16 yers IMG_0076-5...ca03bb.jpg
Comment on Alos the cat. Name could also have been, Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie or Davida Bowie ( if she is a girl)! Bowie had different colored eyes too!
I had a kitten but I accidentally broke it apart before chucking it out back door.
What a beautiful and beautifully designed with double colour crosseyed cat. Marvellous. My girlfriend says she adores it.
I've always wanted a white Turkish Van, because their blue eyes are not linked to deafness -- and because they love to swim! I once had a beautiful black smoke Persian (not a smushed-face one) named Lucifer who would jump into the bathtub with me. He was utterly fearless and a marvelous traveling companion. I have had many cats, but he was among the great ones. Thank you for sharing your beautiful boy with us, Burcu. May you have a long and wonderful life together!
My kitty has different coloured eyes. Not deaf, not albino. Guess I need to up her Instagram game!
Deafness is linked to blue eyes in most white cats, but not Turkish Vans. But odd-eyed white cats are usually not totally deaf. Deafness doesn't follow any other color than white, as far as I am aware.
