Internet Can’t Stop Laughing At These Cops Who Ticketed A Car Made Of Snow With This Note
Simon Laprise has sculpted a full-sized car replica out of snow to fool the snow removal guys, but it attracted the attention of local police officers instead. The 33-year-old Canadian woodworker from Montreal said it was an innocent joke, but the cops even pulled over to write a ticket for the ‘illegally parked’ vehicle.
“I did the car to have fun expressing my creativity on that beautiful day,” Laprise told Buzzfeed. It was a full-sized replica of a DeLorean DMC-12 (the Back to the Future car), although some say it looks more like a third generation Toyota Supra. In parts of Canada, however, parking in a snow removal zone when plowing is scheduled is prohibited. And that’s probably why the cops pulled over.
Upon further inspection, they did identify the vehicle for what it actually was. Finally, the police left a fake ticket on the fake car: “You made our night!!!”

Policemen with a sens of humor...
They had to be Canadian, they did not get mad at all.
@Lodogg 3323 Sorry for ruining your fun (and if it helps, yes I am Canadian and yes I am apologizing) but "soiree" is French for evening. "Vous avez faire" ~ "You have made" and "notre soiree" ~ "our night". :)
In fact they apologized after issuing the fake ticket... lol
In my country they would have fined the sculptor.
its from Montreal the Just for laugh city of course police folks have humor
In Australia it’d just be a puddle. Snow isn’t really a thing here.

I resigned my office-job and now I am getting paid £64 hourly. How? I work over internet! My old work was making me miserable, so I was forced to try something different, two years after...I can say my life is changed-completely for the better! Check it out what i do.. http://cutt.us/5GIPe
In America, they would have hunted the man down, and dumped him in jail. In Canada, if the guy had been standing there, they would have all had a good laugh and gone for a beer after work.
No, the plow crew would have just knocked it over. Don't be dramatic.
Aunt Messy - Life and the world have always been harsh for everyone who has ever existed & it's certainly never been fair. Wouldn't want to imagine even trying to continue to survive without humor or laughter.
Someone hasn't been living in America the past 10 years have they?
If they weren't drunk while plowing.
Haha! The police would have wised up to the trick when they tried wiping the number plate to get the registration number. Policemen anywhere in the world are also human. They would have seen the funny side of it, don't you agree? These guys had a good laugh and it made their night, despite the extreme cold.

No American cops would have probably kicked in the front door of your house after that for "wasting" their time and shot you in the face, then murdered your dog on the way out. Meanwhile, saying, "Oh his snow car threatened my life." Then all the brainwashed American's would just say it's okay and let them get away with it and not be charged with murder. The snow car obviously tried to run over the cop so he had every right to run into the house and murder a whole family.
You are wrong. I was an officer for 25 years and kept a sense of humor all through most of that time. We had a lot of laughs with people and was not snarky like you people think.
why would they have arrested him? xDD american police can have humor too ya know
They wouldn't. Whoever this Lukas guy is, he's obviously a troll. Our police in America, for the most art, are decent, hardworking people just trying to to their jobs. When you have creeps like him, then you get our police being slaughtered right and left for no reason at all. I have friends who are cops, and they are pretty upstanding. They also have a great sense of humor.I know their job is to protect me. Do us all a favor, Lukas- if you're American, don't let the door hit you on the way out. If not- don't come here. With "friends" like you, who needs enemies?

Because in America the whole system is designed to fuck you, and all the cops are dirty cunts. They'll charge you with the most ridiculous charge they can think of and you're guilty until proven innocent. Not to mention they have no sense of humor, murder children, dogs, and the elderly. The police in America are here only to serve the rich, they have no good intentions. Sorry that you haven't actually seen the truth and that you think all the cops are like they are depicted on TV. Here's the truth, they aren't, they are evil, vile, disgusting people that are in on the scam that is our justice system.
And, in the US, if he was black, they might have shot him.
Unfortunately, when enough people make moronic statements like that, other people believe it.
Otis maybe you should heed your own advice more.
At least not everyone is brainwashed and can actually see the truth of what is happening in America.
One of your comments could have been seen as a pretty good post, but then I realize after reading the others you posted, your message is just wrong. I thought you were just talking about the problems we see on the news in America. Now I see you are just overly stretching to attack a police force that may have some bad people in it but are not a group of thugs by any means. Come back to reality Lukas so that people might consider investigating your point of view.
Do you think the snow plougher people will have the courage to remove it?
What are the chances they will go around it thinking it's a real car.
it is possible it looks very real
like,80%
The ticket and tow teams note all abnormal situations and relay to public works, generally. I had a car be totaled by ice falling off the roof. The police left it in place overnight because impounding a destroyed car was a legal nightmare. The plow crews just worked around it.
Yes I've seen a car with the front wheel dangling off / suspension arm broken just STANDing in a no-park zone by a school for over a WEEK while the owner 'dealt' with it. Different rules apply! But if you ever run in to drop a library book for twelve seconds, the Toronto Ticket Revenue Creeps will slap one on your car even as you drive away. Most useless enforcement, ever. Maybe if you had a brief time emergency, put on your emergency blinkers & leave your hood raised...
Probably not even get out of their trucks. They would likely avoid it before determining if it was actually a car or something, or even worse children playing inside it. See, someone could have sculpted snow around a real car to maliciously 'fool' the trucks to hit it but the paperwork for totaling someone's property would be a headache so they are wise to it.
Sure. Why not?
