Excellent shot, there is a tremendous variety of these butterflies, love this !!!
I don't know why flying bugs creep me out. This picture, while lovely, makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I think it's the legs... and everything else about it.
I remember catching butterflies as a child. Normally my sister, brothers and I would catch them and then let them go—it was the challenge that we enjoyed, and the momentary pleasure of having something that beautiful in our hands.

We are fortunate to have these wonderful posts, pleasant to see, also learning more about our beauty in nature !!!
These photos are just breathtaking and so incredibly beautiful. These photographers have a true eye for beauty and composition. Amazing.
With a camera, there are great opportunities to find little creatures, then enlarge on the computer you see details that unable with the naked eye, being an amateur, this excites me, I have some shots I have actually printed !!!
So many of these pictures are just amazing. I wish I could've looked at all of them, but the images of the wasps and stuff just made my skin crawl and I didn't make it through them all.
