Sliced Chocolate For Sandwiches Is Now A Reality – Life Will Never Be The Same Again
Doctors have been recommending chocolate in your sandwich for years, but the Japanese have finally done it! Bourbon, a Japan-based company, has started to sell chocolate slices packaged like Kraft cheese singles. Each pack contains five two-millimeter (0.08-inch) thick slices.
Bourbon’s online shop offers bulk orders consisting of twelve, five-slice packs for 3,240 yen (US$27). The “nama” chocolate used to make the slices is soft and is more intense in flavor than milk chocolate. And for our Danish readers: yes, we know of your Pålægschokolade, but it’s not soft, is it?

Lol in the UK we will have to wait till summer for it to get soft.
Load More Replies...We already have it in Denmark and have had it since 1938 xD
Load More Replies...Oh my god. That is so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I DEFINITELY can't wait to try them myself!!
We Danes have had this forever, I grew up on treats with rye bread and sliced chocolate :-) http://www.bestiloghent.dk/produkt?id=26528
The Japanese have finally done it?? The Dutch have been doing it for decades with their chocolate sandwich sprinkles... I eat chocolate on my bread every day, as do most Dutch people.
... and it is sprinkles, chocolate spread is been around much longer, your point is wrong on so many levels
Load More Replies...In the Netherlands, we have chocolate sprinkles just for bread in many varieties. https://www.google.nl/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.foodlog.nl%2Fimages%2Fuploads%2Fde-ruijter-de-broodversierd.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.foodlog.nl%2Fartikel%2Fde_ruijter_dendert_lekker_door%2F&docid=OenPLsoHuU2EjM&tbnid=7owrj3fgBZO2cM%3A&w=415&h=215&bih=640&biw=360&ved=0ahUKEwiizYP9oL3MAhWpAsAKHco0CVEQMwgkKAYwBg&iact=mrc&uact=8
Why does this gross me out? I think it's because it looks just like sliced cheese and that's all I can think about! Cool though.
Probably brown, and some chocolate of course, but mostly brown.
Load More Replies...I don´t think it looks delicious! Our "Pålægschokolade" ("Lay-on Chokolate") ;) is not soft, but it is REAL chokolate, especially the one from Toms is very good.
What's in it to keep it soft? I bet it's not made to be eaten (the thing that makes it soft)... And WHY does it need to be soft from the pack?? Put a piece of Pålægschokolade (danish thin sliced chocolate) on a warm toast and the result is the same - but with actual chocolate!
Why so negative, if you can track down what you've put in your mouth, im sure there are tons of things you shouldnt have eaten. There are many edible things that could make the chocolate slice soft im sure.
Load More Replies...I'm definitely going to try this in my next round of recipe creation. Visit fewdstar.com to indulge
"Doctors have been recommending chocolate in your sandwich for years, but the Japanese have finally done it! " I don't ever recall my doctor recommending putting chocolate in my sandwich!
That's what I'm thinking! Since when do doctors recommend putting chocolate in your sandwich? :)
Load More Replies...Please read it again! It clearly said "12 five packs" which equals 60 slices for $27.
Load More Replies...I'm the only one who finds this gross? It looks like chocolate Kraft cheese slices.
You can make this pretty easily. It's just chocolate mixed with corn syrup to make it pliable.
We´ve had this for ages! We used to eat chocolate slices on our bread when we were Kids, they are called ESZET-Schnitten!
