8 Pics Of Adorable Munchkin Kitten That Sleeps Like A Human

Probably most of us will agree that nowadays cats are taking over the Internet. Let’s admit that it’s hard to resist how adorably cute and at the same time, funny they are! We all know that if you’re having a bad day, funny cat videos will be the ones that will surely cheer you up for good. Whether they are playing with things that they are not allowed to, getting scared of pretty random objects, or simply adorably sleeping. For some cats, a piece of a blanket in the corner of the bed is enough to have a deep night’s sleep while others really like to show who’s boss and occupy all the space, spread out all over the bed and leaving their owners no space, and that’s really adorable. But the funniest part about their sleeping habits is their various sleeping positions!

There are cats who love sleeping on the side or curled up and that’s really cute but one of our absolute favorite sleeping cat positions is when they lay flat on their back with their legs straight almost looking like a human! And one orange and white calico munchkin cat named Chata is actually pretty famous for this.

Chata from Japan is only two-and-a-half months old but he already went viral on the Internet for his adorable way of sleeping by exposing his round belly and tiny pink paws that are too adorable! After, who wouldn’t want to gently squeeze them? It’s just too cute to handle!

Judging by the blissful and satisfied smile on his face, it’s clear that this little feline is having some pretty sweet dreams without a care in the world. We could only wonder what he could be dreaming of because let’s admit that you surely wouldn’t want to wake him!

Chata is quite new to Instagram as his Instagram account @chavata2023 was only started earlier this year in January. The very first photo on his Instagram featured Chata’s older sister, Chava, who is currently nine months old. Together with his lovely sister, Chata has reached 41K followers on his Instagram and that just proves how much people love them!

I mean...he's cute, I'm not denying it but if you ever consider getting a munchkin, please think twice about it. They may be adorable but they suffer from it and our attention towards these cats is what's bringing them pain. http://www.ejinsight.com/20140904-munchkin-cats-forced-to-suffer-bone-pain-just-to-look-cute/ Yes, I'm fun at the parties, thank you very much.

I had to google munchkin cats, and it’s awful how they get them. We live in a sad world. People are paying money to have animals genetically modified to fit their demands.

I was supposed to be highly allergic to cats growing up, we had 28 of them. Grandma did not believe in wasting money on a vet:/ I have always had cats, never have issues, except when being tested for allergies, when I still show up as highly allergic. More than one Dr has told me a cat would put me in the hospital. Not recommending this as a way to build immunity. However, kids, and even adults, that live closely with animals and the outdoors tend to have much stronger immune systems.

There is something so wrong about this breed of cat. It makes me uncomfortable because I know how many will have ended up being discarded. They will almost certainly have horrendous joint issues too.

I used to think that bored panda was a website where I could express my opinions freely without judgement. Whoever runs this needs to stop deleting comments that are not offensive.

Down vote this article! We should not be encouraging such horrific practices. Research the issues with this kind of breeding. It’s horrific to anyone who cares about animals.

After the First picture, little Chata (ADORABLE BABY!) is described as an "orange & white calico", but He Is Actually A Tabby. Just wanted to share THAT for THOSE who may not be familiar with Cat Varieties. 🐈

Guys, I used to worry about their heath issues too. Turn out, it's all speculations and I found no proof at all. This site also said the same thing (I know it's a pro-munchkin site, but he isn't wrong either!) https://www.munchkincatguide.com/do-munchkin-cats-have-health-problems/

No one should be breeding munchkin cats. It's a deformity that results in pain and health problems as the cost of its being so cute. Promoting it here contributes to the demand.

this is kitten adorable, but, so are the kittens in shelters. adopt from a shelter and put the breeders out of business. anybody who profits from helpless cats is a lazy pathetic loser.

What's sweet about deliberately breeding dwarves ? The 'cute' name - Munchkin - makes it sound harmless. It is not.
