I LOVE the colors and designs. Thank you for sharing!
There is nothing traditional or Slavic in these pictures.
Sad that haters always get the top comments. These photos are amazing.
Hey Sally, thanks for pointing that out, we've updated the article. To clarify - it's a combination of traditionalism and high-fashion 🙂
Don't worry about it. These photos are outstanding. What type of lighting sources were you using if you don't mind me asking? They look so soft! Two softboxes on both side and a reflector below? Really impressive!
They even got way to much makeup
Who cares? It's awesome!
I think so...just bright photos of beutiful girls)
It's folklore
It's totally slavic! The print of the dress is a traditional russian print, the painted eggs are usually decorated during Easter , the combination of tapisseries, velvet, used of mixed prints seems like the old datchas... It's an atmosphere , that you seem to not know about.
Maybe just the eggs.
The red eggs are an Eastern Orthodox tradition for Pascha(Easter).
so beautiful and colorful
How amazing! the photography is wonderful, the colors are bright and these young women are lovely!
The second to last picture is of a woman thinking: "All I want out of life is an omelet, but, alas, it will not be for my goose lays only golden eggs. "
The colors, patterns, flowers and gold. First picture is like Klimt's painting came to life. Just lovely.
Slavic folklore is beautiful, but this is way over the top, not to mention that traditionally Slavic women looked more healthy than these stick-figure models. My eyes hurt from what I just saw! :/
So vibrant and beautiful!
These are beautiful, the colors are amazing so vibrant.
Gorgeous! What are the stories behind the pics? What's with all the eggs? Would love to know!
these photos are beautiful :O
As a Russian, I dislike the implication that Slavic=egg. However, my initial displeasure is more than offset by the beauty of the photographs. These are amazing.
Absolutely beautiful, the most beautiful women
The "Pasha" There was commissioned the site have described the Russian people and Orthodox traditions. In this session, we have shown through the eyes of Orthodox Easter by famous artists. Klimt, Petrov-Vodkin, Vrubel, Vasnetsov, Matisse, Warhol. Inspiration also served vintage Easter cards.

eggs
The colors are lovely as are the ladies. I love the eggs and other props, but, I don't like the prints on top of another print... too busy to fully appreciate.
Great !
Gorgeous! And reminiscent of Mika Ninagawa's works. :)
It reminds me of icons, traditionell slavic paintings
Nice pics
Love, love, LOVE the colors!
Rich, lush colors and patterns surround these beautiful models making for images that bring to mind the work of painters like Klimt. I love the contrast of the pure light skin tones against the busy patterns and vivid colors...lovely work!
So much gorgeousness! The wallpaper, eggs, makeup, CLOTHES! I'm seriously obsessing. How can I have more of this in my life?
What's with all the colored eyes... Just weird.
Nothing slavic i saw just models with too much make up on , i want to see the real Slavic ordinary woman
