Artist Tries To Raise Awareness About Animal Abuse With These 33 Uncomfortable Illustrations Interview With Artist

This artist by the name of milkdongcomics on Instagram creates illustrations. However, those illustrations are not simply art. They have a heavy message behind them—animal abuse. Many of us don't even think about all the ways animals are being mistreated by humanity. So this artist created a project called "Murder Scene" to shock us back to reality.
The art may be uncomfortable for many people, but it's the sad reality of many critters in this world. Perhaps this art will make us rethink our actions and create a world safe for animals. Many organizations are already working towards that. Consider donating to shelters and institutions working to save animals and give them a better life.

Animal abuse is common all over the world. Research shows that animal abuse strongly connects with abuse against people. The most common animals abused are pets, like cats, dogs, and farm animals.
We asked the artist what inspired him to create these illustrations: "I love nature. All of the creatures on the earth are beautiful! Unfortunately, many of them are endangered, therefore, I created a collection of drawings with messages about animal cruelty. The name of the series is "HEY HUMAN, SEE WHAT YOU DO!?" I wanna convey the message to more people through my art, attract more people to raise awareness about the endangered creatures. This is a serious issue!"
There are many forms animal abuse takes: from hoarding too many animals, breeding them incorrectly, to slaughtering them for fur, horns, and teeth, to even organizing fights and pitting animals against one another. Many would argue that there aren't enough laws to help prevent animal abuse; usually, people responsible for mistreating animals are not persecuted.
The artist shared what inspired him to touch upon such heavy topics: "The natural ecosystem is closely linked with humans, so I wanna try my best to do something for animals, the next-generation, and the earth!"

There are many discussions about testing drugs, makeup, and other products on animals. Many companies are going the cruelty-free route—however, many believe it's necessary to ensure the safety of the product.
Humans and animals have been inseparable from one another from the very beginning. Animals are a very important part of our lives, not to mention our planet. So please be considerate and report any animal abuse you see, donate, and help this world become a safer place for them.

Milk Dong Comics shared what he does in life: "I enjoy swimming in the ocean, walking in nature with my lovely doggies. Creating art is my job, Hong Kong is a society under commercial pressure and it is hard to survive in it. I had been employed in different industries for livelihood. For example designer, visual merchandiser, art teacher, sales, customer service, ware-houseman, restaurant waiter, fishmonger, coolie, and many more. However, even after all of it I never give up on art!"

I know the picture is referring to a tortoise but another good point is putting animals in the wrong body of water salt VS fresh or vise versa.

This is called “放生,” "fangsheng," or "mercy release," and is a Buddhist tradition. They do it with many different animals but these guys often bred exclusively for it, or taken from their natural habitat. Sometimes if they're released where they can live, then the sellers go and find them so they can sell them again. Not only is it condemning any animals who people mistakenly put into salt or fresh water (whichever kills them), but also can cause problems where non-native species are introduced to ecosystems. The animals that are released are often stressed or too exhausted to protect themselves.

I don't like these. But only because I know they are inspired by truth. And, as with many replies, it really saddens me. I so wish the people that engaged in things like poaching, testing, fighting and racing saw the world through the eyes of the animals they abuse.

In Asia, I think, elephants are ridden in parades and tied up with rope at the end. The sad part is, when they are babies, they have a chain tied around there ankle. Eventually, they realize there is no escape, and when they grow up, the thin rope acts like the chain. It really is sad. Also, dairy farms. Stop being selfish jerks and give the baby cows their mother's. And why do people chop off dogs' tails? It does nothing to you. Imagine chopping off your leg. Do you want that to happen? I sure hope not.

Scientifically, humans are animals, yes, humans are abused too. Be it through childhood, or adulthood with your partner, there are Humans abused, be it mentally,physical,sexual, (ew) or some other. It really hurts to know that not only these poor “animals” we call them, whilst we are animals too, and these days some heartless humans are animals. Why is “animals” Referred to a crazy person. Um... Sybil? I think you need to actually read the bible. Animals were made by God, and he put us in charge of caring for them. I do not think everyone needs to be Vegetarian/Vegan. Humans are Omnivores! Just look at our teeth! Not that it's bad to be Vegetarian/Vegan. I just want the senseless violence to stop.
I'm not giving up meat, but I am going to do my best to only buy things that are humanely/sustainably farmed.

The one about the Rat makes this unacceptable. Animals are a necessary and a nonreplaceable asset in scientific research. Without the use of animal testing, medical research would come to a grinding halt.
Animal testing is used ecessively. If we accept for the moment that it can't be replaced in total by now, the amount and the potentially found evidence for whatever still not always come into an acceptable proportion. Research towards animal-free testing could use a better funding for sure, and a closer look when this stuff is getting permission (you can't just do that when and how you like, but must, pro forma, show why you need to ... in many countries) would certainly reduce the amount of it - but there is money in it, money when selling the animals also as money when conducting the experiment for another company - and the stuff found out this way often is way overrated ... sometimes its only effect is combining a drug with a minor effective substance like caffein or so to get new patents - this is a system full of exceptions and holes and excuses. If it wree only for real medical progress, we'd need way less. Most are abused.
Whatever one may feel about medical testing, they are also used for cosmetic testing, google it if you can stand to see/ read about it
That is known ... illegal in the EU. Many companies nowadays get certified animal-testing free - look for the hand and bunny symbol for example - and don't hesitate to ask a company if you're not sure. We can do perfectly fine without any cosmetics ... medical stuff may be the one exception, but it should be overseen more closely and with more compassion ... but cosmetic testing, like the draize-test, is completely useless. The result of all this might be shampoo that don't hurt the eyes ... well, don't wash your eyes with it then, maybe ... just a thought. And, on medical research again - Contergan was successfully animal-tested, wasn't it? No one knows what medicine we missed to develop because we're stuck with 18th-century-methods, and many belittle those who oppose, showing lack of ... decency of any kind.
