Every now and then I am thinking how this all started. How I bought my first professional camera and begin this journey into the land of professional photography. Well, thanks to this photo I shot five years ago. I was at work when a colleague came into the office with a big smile on her face: "I have a DSLR!" I was stunned about her enthusiasm. She was taking pictures of everything! So I asked her if I can test the "little beast" a little. And so I stole the key from the building's rooftop and head there with her. I didn't had the faintest idea on how to setup the ISO or the shutter speed at that time. I saw a P on a wheel and let the marker there. As I was playing around, shooting buildings from the top, my "partner in crime" was resting and admiring the horizon. Indeed it was a beautiful autumn morning. I remember kneeling and saying with a grave tone to her: "Iuliana, look at the sun, NOW!" As she turned her head my finger slipped on the shutter and a burst of clicks pumped out of the camera. One of those clicks is this image, the inception of my professional photography. It's called Serenity.
