Every now and then I am thinking how this all started. How I bought my first professional camera and begin this journey into the land of professional photography. Well, thanks to this photo I shot five years ago. I was at work when a colleague came into the office with a big smile on her face: "I have a DSLR!" I was stunned about her enthusiasm. She was taking pictures of everything! So I asked her if I can test the "little beast" a little. And so I stole the key from the building's rooftop and head there with her. I didn't had the faintest idea on how to setup the ISO or the shutter speed at that time. I saw a P on a wheel and let the marker there. As I was playing around, shooting buildings from the top, my "partner in crime" was resting and admiring the horizon. Indeed it was a beautiful autumn morning. I remember kneeling and saying with a grave tone to her: "Iuliana, look at the sun, NOW!" As she turned her head my finger slipped on the shutter and a burst of clicks pumped out of the camera. One of those clicks is this image, the inception of my professional photography. It's called Serenity. Do you remember what was your first shot that made you realize that photography is your way to go?
