Gary Grayson, 55, is a thrill-seeker from Salford, UK. While diving in 2014, however, he had an unexpected encounter just off the Isles of Scilly that has stayed with him to this day: an Atlantic grey seal that “asked” him for a belly rub! In the video below, the seal seems to reach for Grayson’s hand, and then is pleased by the affection that follows.
“This grey seal came across and had five minutes with me, kind of thing. Then another was climbing up my leg,” Grayson told M.E.N. “I’m an experienced diver but I have never known anything like that… I tend to live life on the edge. But this was certainly up there with anything I have ever done.”

Yet another reason for working hard to save Earth and its ocean environments!
This is one of the reasons that we should protect our ecosystem. There are such majestic creatures near us.
Omg!!! That other seal wanted a belly rub too!! How adorable is that!?!
this is adorable! I love experiencing the scattered moments when the human-animalia relationship works out
