How Do School Lunches Around The World Look?

It’s important that growing children eat healthy, but judging by the appearances of some school lunches out there, it doesn’t seem like schools like to deliver the goods. But the Sweetgreen restaurant chain released a series of school lunch comparisons from countries around the world, giving us a look at how culture and geography can affect the diversity and healthfulness of school lunches.
From a US or UK perspective, the school lunches in many other countries seem mouth-wateringly fresh and varied. The lunches from Brazil and South Korea especially stood out for their delicious-looking variety. In other countries, unfortunately, lunch ladies have earned reputations as distributors of foul, toxic concoctions.

lol... this is definetely what the creator thinks school lunches are... because i am greek and let me tell you, we have no school lunches.

I'm Brazilian and have lived 1/2 my life in Greece. I have no idea where the creator of this article gets this info from. He's crazy!

i'm brazilian and i don't know what is anything on the plate... except for the rice and beans... really. btw, we don't have school lunches

I agree. They don't feed us a nice piece of beef every lunch. And camembert... why so cliché ?
When I was eating in the cantine du collège, we had fish sticks, raviolis, steak hachés, etc.. and it was all very "beurk"
Myhusband is 77yrs old born greek grew up eating what was left during the wars. But today these foods are typical movie shows taking mousika

Well, our school lunch in Espoo did look like the one in the picture except that it was self serve, so yeah, not nicely arranged but FOOD.

this is ridiculous! not even in private schools in Brazil children will eat like this! most of them don't even have lunch in schools

And we walk naked with monks....
I can say that at least in federal institutes lunch is like it.
