Watch Man Revive A Squirel After Getting Electrocuted And It’s Both Sad And Amazing

Not all heroes wear capes and these men are one of those. A group of young men took it upon themselves to bring back a tiny squirrel back to life.

Reportedly, the small rodent accidentally electrocuted itself on the power lines in Cartagena, Colombia. These men saw the accident happen and rushed to help the little animal.

After a few minutes of persistent yet gentle reviving, the previously immobile squirrel starts breathing again. The animal was frightened but was ok.

You can see the men in action in the video below.

Aww poor baby. I hope they were able to keep him safe in a box or something until he was up to speed. The poor guy probably had a bit of confusion if not brain damage from being without o2 for so long. Beautiful people who did this though, all life is precious!

some squirrels can survive anoxia for up to 18 minutes so he's probably ok just a little shaken up.

I learned everything I needed to know about Cartagena by watching the movie Romancing the Stone.

I just love stories where men arnt afraid to show compassion and caring for an animals life and well being. Esp. in the Latin community, where men are suppose to be so strong/macho. It gives me hope for humanity when I see stories like these. God bless these men.

Those men are heroes! Good for them for not giving up on that poor animal. I wish all people valued any life as much as these gentlemen did! I hope that poor squirrel is okay, though!

I was waiting for the mouth-to-mouth part. Not sure if I'm relieved or disappointed.

Meh - it's vermin. Squirrels are rats with furry tails. Unlikely the guy had anything to do with it's survival. It was stunned by the electricity, then it recovered. Good job mother nature.
