With us, humans, consuming so much of farm animal production, such as meat, dairy, eggs and so on, nobody really wants to think about the conditions these animals live in. Animals kept in these farms, are often just a hair away from animal cruelty cases, with their living conditions being the bare minimum requirements to keep them alive. It's the same for some companion animals, where they are purchased purely for human entertainment, or wild animals shot for sport.

Now, imagine a parallel universe where domestic animals were the dominant species, and they treated us like the human race treats them. Pretty scary thought right? Well, that's the theme of this shocking series of illustrations that are designed to get you the issue of animal abuse on the spotlight.

Compiled by Bored Panda, the list features many animal rights scenarios we can probably relate to. The only difference is, the humans and animals have been reversed. Some of the illustrations are pretty gruesome, so you have been warned, but hopefully, they'll help you to look at the subject from an entirely different perspective.

A vile barbaric practice that must be done away with. Torture is not entertainment or cultural tradition

It's quite a soft illustration when you know that in fact foxes and other fur animals are skinned alive because only their skin/fur is interesting and it takes less time to do it while they are conscious than killing them first (not that it would be more acceptable if they were killed first).

One of the worst thing ever elaborated. And on the other hand the same people doing that regularly to animals will get all offended when they read an article about someone who boiled a kid.

Oh, but this one is inaccurate. But I understand it would look confusing if only small unrecognisable pieces of human flesh would have been depicted there...

Ah, finaly a realistic one on how fur is really taken from animals. It just misses the sound to make it like those videos you can find on youtube, once you heard it you can't forget it unless you're one of those humans from the degenerate branch of evolution of course.

Dairy Industry - the truth. Humans force cow to be pregnant and then take away the child from her! (Veal Farms!) so humans can drink cows milk which supposed to be for her child. Then after mothers milk is finished they will repeat it all over again..and after a few years of this exploitation and abuse they will slaughter Her. Imagine shop shelf where on one side is veal (cows child) and beside in milk section is the milk of the mother for this child. Dairy Industry - Pure Evil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn1GmYHpjiw

I've seen and shown dairy cattle and can say you are stretching the truth. Veal is only for boy calves and that is a horrible practice. The babies are removed for their safety (infection) and the parents actually enjoy being milked. Many farms have self millers and the animals go in more often when allowed to milk themselves because it relieves the pressure building up and they get treats. Dairy cows get to live on pasture and have all needs provided for

Picture of what is going on here is symbolic. If you would take pregnant baby belly out from the picture, people then would say that this is some kind of porn. The reality is that people never see cow in pragnacy stage and never think why the cow has it's milk and what happened to the baby cow.

They are milked after giving birth. It is the same with all animals, including humans.

Actually it goes like that in most of the farm in Switzerland: cows give birth then start to be milked, then after 2 months they get pregnant again then they keep milking them until one month before they give birth again.

i´m actually considering of becoming a vegetarian because of this picture.. this is probably problem with those who eat meat, they need to understand what happens to the animals, and perhaps see a gross picture like this to reflect over it. people just eat meat because it tastes good... but what if ate my dog just because it tastes good? i bet my dog has feelings too and i bet you can have a cow as a pet too.. and love it and take care of it as well.. animals have feeling too.. the more i write the more convinced i become to be a vegetarian!

vegetarians still participate in cruelty leading to animal suffering and death. Dairy and Egg industry purposely kill their animals after there reproduction stops or they are downed. Dairy cows become low grade meat. Egg laying hens also get killed when egg rates lower. Not to mention male chicks are ground up in a macerator since roosters can't produce eggs which are profitiable for the industry. Male calves are also not profitable for the dairy industry. They have to seperate children within 1 day of birth. Sometimes a few hours after. The males are starved/fattened on not cow milk but grain mixture. Then sold to market as veal. So the egg and dairy industry by and large is a horrible.

Not all diary farms kill the babies. Where I live they keep the females and send the males to a farm for cattle.

I rather feel sorry for the underpaid waiter having to deal with sometimes ingrateful complaints, than for the fly that accidentally flew into the hot soup. What are you suggesting with this one anyway? Installing nets on your kitchen windows? Or is it "eating the insect out of respect" (as bizzare as it sounds)?

trees aren't animals.... Plus, we kill them right away. We dont just sit and watch the tree die and laugh maniacally. (not saying the tree is...) also (most trees) dont have blood. AND technically, they dont have a spouse or child either. (unless you count the saplings as tree children.) Sorry if you really liked this one. I am just stating the facts of my opinions.
