Pharmacy Employee Shares The Saddest Experience Of His Life, And It Will Break Your Heart
This is the most serious feels warning you will ever receive. Do not proceed unless you have tissues handy.
A pharmacy technician named James Morales recently shared a story on Twitter that is literally causing people to break down in tears wherever they are, whether it’s at work, in class, or in the club. Many of us know the joy of having a favorite regular customer at work, and in James’ case, it was an elderly couple who would come to pick up medications. Something was off about their latest trip in, however, and when you find out what it was, you might not be able to get out of bed for the rest of the week.
We’ve told you all we can. It’s in your hands now to scroll down and ruin your own life – just don’t say we didn’t prepare you. If you’d like to contribute to the collective misery, add your own sad story in the comments at the end.
This is James Morales, a pharmacy technician who posted a Twitter thread that is making everyone cry

A sad story to be sure, but also one that nearly half of everyone reading this will endure. The line "spending the majority of your life with someone, just to be left alone in the end.." made me think you should consider yourself lucky to have experienced the love in the first place. It's a cliche but, "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" really is true. Kudos to the man for honoring his wife's wishes by taking his medicine and continuing to live on.
Yeah, exactly. Better have someone who love, than don't have anyone ever, even that means you'll eventually lose that somebody from your life in a sad way.
Load More Replies...I think the saddest part of this story is that James has no one to tell. That old couple lived an entire lifetime together! And it sounds like they enjoyed a very lovely and close marriage. Now I wish the same for James!
@BP - The word is 'feelings'. Don't descend to moronic inability to use English correctly. It's not cool.
If this is the saddest thing he's ever experienced, he's pretty lucky.
I'm calling shenanigans on this whole story anyway. People will do anything for twitter fame.
Load More Replies...love is very powerful. a lot of us deny the effect it has or simply ignore it and cover it up with lust. if we could all accept love and try to find peace in our hearts, imagine how strong a community we would have at all times.
I'm crying so much. Mostly because its true. My fiance died while proposing to me. I loved him so much.
James you are not alone. Thank you for sharing. My younger brother died at the age of 22 from a brain tumor and I learned to live and love every day I have. God bless for the ones we know and love. \
So the circle of life keeps going... If that upsets u or makes u sad u are an idiot that wastes everyone else's air...
I make it habit to say "I love you" before bed or before leaving for work to my boyfriend. I still say it to my family as well. One of my best friends was taken from this world in front of my eyes and it really makes you realize life can be taken away so fast and so randomly. It is important to enjoy life and appreciate the people in life as well.
The same scenario played out for me.I couldn't go back to the pharmacy for a long time.My daughter picked up my meds. When I felt ready, I had to console the pharmacist. She was crying. It was so difficult.
I am a Pharmacy Tech and this hit hard. We feel very similar at my pharmacy when a patient passes away. I am in tears right now because I really understand where this guy is coming from and have lived this story before. Sometimes I don't think patients understand how much we really truly care about them.
Well, all these romantic stories seem like fairy tails to me. I have never had these moments with anyone. Being all my life alone I can just say that those lucky one who have experienced to be with his or her loved one even for 1 day have to be thankful for that luck and appreciate he had it. Having his for years is a life fully lived that I never had. People are unable to appreciate those who love them and care for them till they lose them. It is very sad. I loved with full heart and soul but was not lucky enough to be appreciated and to have a full happy day in my life. I see how others do not appreciate what they have and never had. It is very sad.
...I can relate with his story. I lost my mother, just this May. The last time I saw her was in the hospital. She was unconscious as she was recuperating after they removed water from her lungs. I was there just holding her hands and not saying anything. This has happened a lot of times before and from experience, we knew that by tomorrow we will be able to bring her home. So when my brother came to replace my watch over her, I brushed her hair before I left (she hates messy hair). Still I haven't said anything to her. I came home, took some sleeping aid so I can be at my best tomorrow when we bring her home. I woke up at 10AM the following day with a lot of messages and missed calls. She had an apoplectic shock and passed away at 1AM, 3 hours after I left her. Even today, I still feel sad not having to say how much I loved (and always will) her. So tell the people you love how you feel.
use your heart to talk, words mean very little without interaction of your true feelings . to often we give bad signals with words if you can't mean what you say best not say at all i call my mother every 3 days talk c**p but last thing ,i love you mum,if she were not there any more sure i would feel lonely but at least she knew how i felt about her
I also don't have anyone to call and say to them I love them, so that makes two of us.
I'm not expressive, not good with words. I've never say "I love you" to my parents. I love my mom but not my dad cause he's bad. I just hope I can say everything I wanna say before it's too late.
Not really. Mr. Smith is probably not the guys real name and no medical conditions or medication was mentioned.
Load More Replies...Ah yes you were hoping for something gruesome maybe? Something with an unexpected plot-twist since this is obviously a movie and not someone's life? Life is generic. Not everyone has movie scenes as life, which is what you were obviously expecting. It's making people cry because it's sad. But yes if only there was some more drama, just something more to 'spice' up the poor man's life so it's less generic for you.. :)
