This looks like an artificial lake. Are we sure that it has'nt been emptied for some reasons?

Man made or not. The point is the same. Not a single one of Georgia's lakes are natural but wildlife and humans still depend on them for water. When a water source has been around for 100 years and in the last 20 has dramatically declined and that decline has outpaced population growth, something else is wrong.

A reservoir goes up and down due to rain and use. This is definitely being used more than it can refill.

This! Slowing down the meat consumption is a great step that everyone can take.

And of course you’re getting down votes. Here have an up vote. I mean, how dare you point out a big water consumption issue when it’s something people don’t want to hear or give up ... even if it’s for the well-being of everyone to give up on it.

Lake Oroville is at peak level right now. It makes for a dramatic picture, but honestly guys, in this day of fake news, don't be selling this as a ten year challenge. If we're going to do something about climate change its got to start with a truthful account of things. Be better

This is northern California it looks like the pic on the right more than the one on the left. It's almost always this low at the end of the summer.

This is the last one I looked at. I can't look at anymore. As a species the humans are failing. We have all of the knowledge and power to do something but the people in charge make it impossible. They look at conservation as an expense and not profitable.

This concerns the Aral Lake in Uzebekstian and is not the result of Climate change but Stalin's disastrous ambitions.

Such a drastic change in just three years. It's making me cry seeing how unaware us humans are to all this .

This doesn't appear to be the same location. Look at the shape of the hills in the background of the top picture -- now compare that profile to the bottom picture. Different topography.
