Probably all of us fondly remember watching the famous Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s adventures on TV and admiring his endless knowledge about the animal world. Even after his passing almost 14 years ago, his family is still carrying on with his work and is known all over the world, especially now after devastating bushfires that ravaged Australia. But one member of the family is frequently in the spotlight not only for continuing with the good deeds his father started but also for sharing similar features, making people stop for a split second wondering could it actually be him? 16-year-old Robert Irwin recently posted an iconic recreation of the famous koala photo on his Instagram where he looks exactly like his father and people are in awe.

Share on FacebookI think he looks more like his mother. And his sister, Bindi, looks more like their dad. But both have their dad's spirit!
The wombat is also pretty similar. But honestly - he does not look thaaat much like his dad. Sure, but - I think the boy is way better looking.
He does a great job bringing awareness to the animals he loves so much. I only worry that he and Bindi have put their father on such a pedestal and want to be like him to the point of not pursuing any other goals they may have. On the new-ish show with the family and the zoo, it shows how much Robert loves photography, I even saw one episode where he jumped in the ocean with his camera as they released a sea turtle back into the wild after rehabbing it for some parasites. He glowed with enthusiasim!
I was thinking the same thing. It's lovely that they're continuing their father work, but I think it's exhausting for them to always be expected to do what he did and to always be compared to him. They're young adults, they should follow their own dreams. If it takes them back here, great. If it takes them somewhere else, also great.

He looks just like Steve. On animal planet’s show called Crikey! It’s the Irwin’s Terri Irwin said “Don’t tell him this but he looks just like his father underwater.”
This is like the 3rd time I see this kind of stuff about the Irwin family. There seems to be an obsession about it on this site. And poor kid who isn't left alone.
The poor kid does promotional tours, to bring awareness about animals, just like his dad did. I've seen him on late night shows several times, many when I thought he should have been home in bed. Of course few of those are live, so he may have been. He looks up to the memory of his dad to the point of wanting to be just like him. That's not an Irwin family trait, it happens to many people.
