Photographer Captures Dark And Lonely Roads Around The World
Throughout his travels, Andy Lee has taken a lot of pictures of beautiful and forlorn roads around the world. Now, this creative director, filmmaker, painter, doodler and photographer (and we can probably also add “renaissance man” to the list) has collected these photos in an amazing series called “Roads” that will fill you with wanderlust.
He opens the photo gallery with a perfectly fitting quote from Jack Kerouac: “There was nowhere to go but everywhere.” The roads he’s shot over the years are eerily desolate and still.
One of this accomplished photographer’s series that he drew on was Blue Iceland, which we wrote about previously. Be sure to check out the rest of this prolific artist’s work as well, because he’s got a lot to show the world!

You can have the most expensive camera and photoshop but that doesn't make a photographer. It's within the person. Tools don't make artists.

All of theme look like there going to continue on to go no where, very cool
Photography at it's best! You really get a feeling of isolation. His work is encapsulating!
They are indeed dramatic and beautiful. But they'd be lot more intriguing and appealing to me if I knew where they were taken.
i really like all them great job . I am not usually into photography I prefer paintings but these are spectacular
My favorites are the old roads with the trees leaning in, and the one with the horses~

It was like, facing to the storm and wall, of nature, of the planet, and of the mind.
Very dark and gloomy in some. I half expected to see Little Red Riding Hood to appear in some. Others looked like roads going to nowhere.
F*****g ugly (spit) I hate beauty. Magnificent majesty makes me sick.
Nice, but, too many of the same type of road, i.e., lonely road going towards mountains.....
If my life could be interpreted into a picture, it would like like this.
They are beautiful and fill me full of intrigue as to the stories to be found along their paths.
such skill. Depth is captured very well and the contrast in values is amazing! I love photos like these!!! I also love photos of roads XD
Amazing!Especially the b&w ones. If you like this kind of road photos I would recommend these too: https://www.boredpanda.com/vermont-blues/
