Also, if this story is true and this persons side is accurate, then the electrician DID make an effort to meet the clients requirements, even though they felt the requirement was ridiculous.

I always want to hear both sides. The majority of the time when there's a seemingly obvious, one-sided issue I do a bit of digging and find out it's more complicated than that.

I'm not following your logic on this. Everything about his post is anonymous, so how is it trying to make her look bad? He never mentions her name, his name, his company name, etc. He never even says what state he lives in. It's hard to make someone look bad, if no one knows who they, or you, are. We also do not know the sex of the OP, so really, that's a bit of a moot point. I dunno. It just seems like you're assuming a lot of things, based on your personal feelings about the whole thing.

I don't know how it is now but back in the day we had to put a actual lock on hazardous stuff, (breakers, valves, etc) so that people couldn't access them. It was a strict OSHA law.

Yes, except I have heard people say that and I did a tile job for a woman once and told her not to use that bathroom (she had 3) that night and she did. The tiles were all askew the next day. She claimed she never walked on them but reached across them to get something off of the counter...the counter however was 7 feet away :/ I am a woman so there was no issue in regard to gender. It works both ways and wealthy clients were always the worst to work for. Until you have health with people from the other perspective you have no idea how horrid they can be!

I hear a little class warfare too, but I have heard this kind of thing many times. "Who says that?" You must never have worked for entitled rich people. THEY say that. It's very real. I've heard it, seen it, and smelled the stink of "We are better than you and we know your job better than you" ... often with consequences that they wouldn't have faced if they were being less Special. Ask anyone who works delivering goods and services to rich people's neighborhoods, they'll tell you your job, they'll get in your way, they'll call police on you because you're delivering to their neighbor and they don't want your truck parked there for however long you're taking. As for doing remodels of any kind for some entitled rich people, they will change their minds in the middle of a job and expect immediate change to meet their whims, they'll complain if you need to charge more, they'll quibble about nickels and dimes on their bills when they wasted thousands with whimsy.

Well he claims to have proof, which I'm sure he can share after the case , I'm not sure what reason there is to doubt him but you could be right.

Yep! One of the first things you're taught in any of the trades. Hateful, stupid, rich people are not exempt.
