Today In Iceland, We Woke With The Highest Amount Of Snow Ever Recorded In February

During this night it’s been one of the most intense snowfalls I’ve experienced. We literally got 51 centimeters (like 20″) of snow in a few hours.
I woke up at 3 AM by the sound of some trees breaking in my backyard. So I decided to get out and take some photos. Pretty glad I did.

Crazy to think in another part of the world you are getting record setting snow in feb, and where I live, we just set the record for the warmest february on record (which goes back 140 years). We've already had a couple 80 degree days, and a thunderstorm (tomorrow chance there's tornadoes), usually we are getting snow in February!
Where I am (Pacific NW), it's the coldest Feb also.
We got lucky Amanda, while Europe, Siberia, and Asia have been battered mercilessly. Even Australia and NZ have been hit hard with snow in summer. The Grand Solar Minimum will get us next time around. Count your blessings.
Hey. Where are the rest of the pics? I don't want just one? Please show the others too.
Yes! Please
Check again guys!
