This used to happen to me in my Turkish apartment. The shared laundry room was in the basement and you had to pay per hour. People would stop the cycle, put their clothes on a quick cycle, then leave. I would find all kinds of socks and panties in my things that didn't belong to me. I would do the quick wash myself so I could get 4 loads done in a couple hours. However, after the first cycle, people would take my clothes out and use the rest of my time for their use. It got pretty nasty down there. I totally sympathize with this post!!
I was doing laundry in college (christian college full of just the "best" people). Put my clothes in the dryer, went back to my room. Came back a while later to check on my clothes and to my surprise my wet clothes were in a pile on the counter. I pulled the person's still wet clothes out of "my" dryer and thew them all over the floor (college laundry room floor, not exactly the cleanest). Put my clothes back in, ran back to my room and grabbed my baseball bat. Sat on top of the dryer waiting for the perp to return. Lucky for him my laundry was dry before he came back to check on his.

I had neighbours from hell- looong story, superintendents of our building and raging Jehovahs Witnesses. One fine late evening I crept up to their food with a pair of hemostats, a pebble and some ‘shoe goo’ type glue but oh so much better! So they would forever be shaking their shoe to try to dislodge, ( nope! That sucker is staying is staying put!), with said pebble. I repeated randomly with months long gaps, never being predictable and striking with glee. I also planted dog poop beside their drivers side door so when either left at 5 am they would step in it and enjoy a ‘fragment drive.’ One afternoon before they got home on garbage night I carefully and quietly put a hefty load of bricks in the bottom of a garbage bin. I could hear his very loud and unchristian cursing later on when he tried to move it. I like to think I stepped up to spare my neighbours because everyone grew to loathe them. They left within the year. I never told anyone but sure laughed ALOT!

I’ve had someone steal my then 1 year old daughters clothes out the washer, take our clothes out the washer and put theirs in as well as just putting their clothes in with mine. And then recently my boyfriend and I (daughters father and I no longer together) got our first apartment together and the first time I did laundry here someone took all MY clothes out the dryer (washers lock; dryers don’t) and I found out by walking in the laundry room and seeing a couple pairs of my pants on the nasty a*s floor and then I found one of my shirts BEHIND one of the washing machines. My revenge story isn't quite as ingenious as these but it's still pretty damn satisfying. Warning-SPOILERS! There is this woman I know who absolutely despises me and I have no idea why. I always try to be nice to her but she does nothing but throws angry glares my way and spreads nasty rumors about me. There is a group of us that watch The Walking Dead religiously. Wanting to be part of the crowd, she eventually started watching it too. But she doesn't have cable so she waits until the season is over an buys it on DVD. Because of this she is always a season or two behind. Whenever I hear another bit of nastiness she has told a friend or co-worker I'll make sure I'm in earshot of her (which is easy to do because she constantly eavesdrops), and just start shouting out things to another co-worker who watches TWD like "OMG! Some little 13 year old was squealing at me over my gaming microphone because he couldnt beat me in a call of duty match. So, he threatens to "find where i live and f**k my mom in front of me." Well, i said "alright cool i'll let her know you're interested." And proceeded to trace his connection, locating this idiot not even 14 miles from me. So i get my mom, tell her the situation, and we get in the truck and head over and knock on the door. Kid comes up with his mom, and my mom and i graciously explain what had transpired. Nothing grand, but here is one of my little moments of satisfaction; Back when I was at uni there was a communal kitchen between 7 of us. We all got along on most days, and I love cooking so I was happy to make a meal or bake cakes for everyone about once a week out of my own pocket. No one owned up, and my full bag of sugar vanished again two weeks later. Another week it was obviously being dipped into regularly. So, having had enough, I decided to add a little surprise into a new bag of sugar - I broke up a handful of dry spaghetti into tiny bits and mixed it into the bag, then left it. I just wish I could have seen their faces when they used it >:)

The working conditions were horrible with a General Manager who was an absolute Hitler. She got joy out of making people's lives miserable and pushed people so far that they either resigned or she found some b******t grounds to fire them on. I was part of the latter. When you start working for this company, you have to bring your own coffee cup to work and she loved telling the poor resignees to "not forget your coffee cup" as they walk out the door. Out of pure spite she sent me a friend request on Facebook right after she had me fired. I simmered and wanted to let loose with some insults that would send me straight to hell. But I figured that that was exactly what she wanted, so I left it. But I didn't delete the friend request.
Some years passed and I heard that that same woman, along with the CEO was being investigated for fraudulent activities. The client’s claims were paid into THEIR bank accounts rather than to the clients and then they told the clients some b******t story as to why their claims were never paid. I accepted her friend request and posted a photo of her coffee cup (which she never got to take, because they were escorted out of the building by the Police) with the caption “Don’t forget your coffee cup!”. She blocked me shortly after I posted that, but I got immense satisfaction out of knowing that she knows I know what she did.
