Trolls Tell ‘Curvy’ Woman She Does Not Deserve A ‘6-Pack’ Husband, And Her Response Is The Best
Ever since the dawn of the internet, there have been trolls. These broken, deeply insecure people love nothing more than to bring others down to their level by preying on their insecurities. When Instagrammer and Podcaster Jenna Kutcher was messaged by someone who ‘couldn’t believe’ she had managed to land herself such a hot husband, she decided to neutralize her troll’s power completely by sharing her experience and turning it into an inspiring message of body positivity.
Jenna and her husband Drew have been married for 11 years and are deeply in love. Jenna is a beautiful, healthy and successful woman, and Drew is a loving husband and fitness and health coach. Drew’s honed physique from his days in the gym does, Jenna admits, play on her mind when she looks at herself in the mirror.
“Part of my insecurity with my body has stemmed around being married to Mr. 6-Pack himself. Why should I, a curvy girl get him? She said. “I feel unworthy and when I write narratives in my head that because I am not thin, I don’t deserve him.”
So her troll had managed to find her weakness and ruthlessly exploit it. “I’ll be honest that I was taken aback.”
But instead of letting the troll get to her, she decided to show everybody why love is so much more than skin deep. “This man has embraced every curve, every dimple, pound and pimple for the last ten years and has always me reminded me that I’m beautiful even when my inner dialogue doesn’t match,” she said. “So yes, my thighs kiss, my arms are big, and my bum is bumpy but there is just more of me for him to love and I chose the man that could handle all that (and so much more!).”
“I am so much more than my body, so is he, and so are you. Double tap if true love doesn’t see size.”
Her frank honestly and positive message has inspired thousands of people who relate to her insecurities. Because for some reason society still has a hang-up about seeing couples of differing sizes together, especially if it is the woman who is heavier.
Put it down to ignorance, jealousy, the constant pushing of body ideals through media and marketing or whatever, but something is not quite right. As one commenter put it: “Let us also take a moment to acknowledge how backwards it is that our world thinks that she is “too fat” to be with him. When did a lovely curvy woman, who is clearly of average size, become a symbol of someone unlovable?! It’s crazy! Love is love is love.”

why do people feel the need to crap all over someone else's life? they're individuals and they get to choose what is important to them, what is beautiful to them, and how they want to live their lives. she is not a bear setting a trap for some "better looking" guy, and he is not a prize to be won at a beauty pageant.

Simple because their own lifes are miserable. Most often those who' are judging on someone's weight have a body issue. Those who mocked down someone's relationship are not in a good or even abusive relationship on their own.
I'm curious why this comment was down voted. Lunagoth makes a valid point. It's like the school bully. They hurt others to make themselves feel better about their own lives. This woman posted photos of herself and the man she loves and loves her back. She has pride in her relationship because she's lucky to have found true happiness. It's not so much the water as the soap, that washes away your skin's natural oils. Might also want to check the pH of the water you're using.
I have the same problem. Allergist says sensitive skin which is actually a rare condition. Also cold water will make me break out in hives. Great way to get out of dishes as a kid lol

I get the same scrutiny with my husband. He's a lot smaller than me and extremely good looking. I've had internet trolls bully me and tell me he'll never love me. The words hurt and it causes me to be insecure around him, but no matter how many trolls attempt to bring me down my man is always there to tell me to him I'm the most beautiful woman in the world and he will love me no matter what I look like. Haters are going to hate because in truth, they are jealous they can't find love like that.
Let your love for each other be what guides you. Nothing any random moron on the internet has to say matters in your real life. Love each other and laugh at the bullies. My husband is quite a bit larger than I am. Doesn't change how I feel about him or how he feels about me. He doesn't like the way he looks but I tell him all the time I love the way he looks. I think he looks amazing because he's also beautiful on the inside. He's intelligent and he's kind to everyone around him. To me he's the whole package. Your own husband most likely feels the same about you.
People need to stop commenting on others lives and focus more on their own. It's one thing to comment and say, 'oh, that looks like a really lovely vacation you had', or something similar, but why feel the need to get so personal with it (especially if you don't even know the people) that you comment on something so personal as their looks or what you think of their relationship. Wait, she is freaking hot! I have never quite understood people's emphasis on body size and weight. First of all, she's healthy and that's important. Two it's not the troll's body. And three men are attracted to women of all shapes, colours and sizes. So if you do not find someone attractive just stfu and move on. Met my future husband when i was around 100 kg of weight. We fell in love with each other. Moved to mountains, i’ve lost half of the weight and we are still in love. If you think extra kilos, freckles, burns, cuts, disabilities, a big nose or whatever else could be a good enough reason not to love a person, get prepared to be not loved, coz nobody’s perfect (except of my future husband who loves me no matter how i look).

There's no accounting for ones' taste and I don't think they should have too. I worked with a guy years ago who was married to an extremely obese woman, 350 to 400 lbs. She was so huge that they rarely went out in public; he did the shopping. We were stunned when he brought her to an office christmas party once. He was tall, well dressed and very good looking. He complained about her a lot and how he had to take care of her health problems; the only nice thing I ever heard him say about her was that she was a good cook. They had no kids so I couldn't understand why he stayed with her, it didn't make sense when he could have had many attractive women. Anywayz, she died and within six months he had married another extremely obese woman as large as the deceased wife! Go figure. Maybe it was the cooking? Who knows!

If shes happy that way, cool, but as someone who has been fighting weight all her life Im saying its a lot easier to get rid of it while youre still young.....once middle age sets in wow is it tough. When I started reading this - I expected to see a really obese woman (tho that wouldn't have mattered...). Jenna is a beautiful normal-sized lady, and it's clear that her husand adores her. My elder daughter is a larger lady because of medical conditions, but her 'normal' size hubby is devoted to her! It was only in the last century, when photography became popular, that slimmer bodies became fashionable. Before that , think of all those classical paintings of curvy women!

I am shaped like a candied apple when I'm not thin. Being heavier does not mean you are "curvy". They are not one and the same! I've known heavy women with great proportions and thin women with great proportions as to the standard aesthetic (i.e. they were BOTH curvy). So, for women like me, you're saying, "You're not thin and your'e not curvy. Sucks to me you." Just say it like it is. "Overweight woman" or something like that. Don't make euphemisms. It's not so much the water as the soap, that washes away your skin's natural oils. Might also want to check the pH of the water you're using.
I have the same problem. Allergist says sensitive skin which is actually a rare condition. Also cold water will make me break out in hives. Great way to get out of dishes as a kid lol

Met my future husband when i was around 100 kg of weight. We fell in love with each other. Moved to mountains, i’ve lost half of the weight and we are still in love. If you think extra kilos, freckles, burns, cuts, disabilities, a big nose or whatever else could be a good enough reason not to love a person, get prepared to be not loved, coz nobody’s perfect (except of my future husband who loves me no matter how i look).
