Guy Rescues A Baby Moose, And Now It Visits Him Every Day

When Erikas Plucas came back home one ordinary day he found a baby moose lying all by herself just outside his gate. “The first sight of her was heartbreaking,” Plucas, who lives in Lithuania, told The Dodo. “She was starved, dirty, sad, her fur was infested with flies, and she was so terrified of me when she first saw me but was too weak to run away, to even get up.” Plucas assumed that the baby’s mother must have been shot by hunters, leaving the tiny animal terrified and in danger to die of starvation.

Plucas decided to keep it, an a magical friendship between the animal and the man. At first, Plucas would feed her every four hours, and even sleep next to her in the barn or outside to make sure the animal felt safe.

Eventually, it was time to release the moose back into the wild. However, up until now, the animal still visits her ‘dad’ every single day! The moose seems to be pregnant, so soon Plucas will get even more visitors – and he couldn’t be happier about it.

“She turned my life upside down. Being a man, I became a mother to a moose,” Plucas told Bored Panda.  “I’m her world now and she is mine,” Plucas said. “Sometimes I wonder was it me who saved her, or is it the other way around?”.

What a deer little moose (please edit the deers to moose) I'm glad he convinced people to stop hunting we have plenty of animals in the store without killing extra.

All this tells me whether it's a moose or deer,is that animals are so loyal and definitely know what gratitude is

Moose are deer. Strange wording, but still accurate. They are simply the largest deer.

Gentle reminder that many states in the US have hunting programs established to help curb over population of certain animals. Good hunters eat their hunts and save the furs. White Tail deer population in upstate NY is a prime example.

This is really cool. Once, I got within three feet of a wild deer, but it sprang away. I wish I could experience something like this

"Some of them were so touched by his story, they promised the man to put the guns away for good" Ruined by commie SJW BS. When you are confronted by 3 6'2" felons flipping a coin on which one gets to rape you first, which do you want in your hand? Your SJW BS, or gun you have practiced with?

I think my favourite part about this is that some hunters stopped being hunters. I can't stand hunters and poachers. Hunters kill animals for SPORT, not even to support themselves. And poachers use cruel methods to carry out their killing.

As you can see from the comment thread, deering a moose or trying to moose a deer is unacceptable. Deer = gracious. Moose =
