Dog Hugs A Reporter Visiting A Shelter To Do A Story Until He, Allegedly, Decides To Adopt Her
It’s a story about friendship at first sight. The kind that never questions; just is. One that has been around for ages. The friendship between man and dog.
This particular moment took place on a day just like any other. A reporter visited an animal shelter to do a story and wasn’t expecting anything other than that. Suddenly, however, a very special pup approached him. The reporter didn’t have a treat or anything, the dog simply came up to him with the sole purpose of showering him with all of its affection and hugged him.
The reporter didn’t know what to think of it at first. After all, neither of them had seen the other before. But the hug was so heartfelt, he had no choice but to embrace it. The reporter started petting the dog, rewarding it with the same positive vibes he was receiving. It was a mutual exchange of being in the present together. People standing nearby couldn’t resist the powerful connection, so they began recording it.
As the reporter was giving the dog loving pats, it encouraged the neglected animal to hold onto his leg even tighter. When the people who were recording the encounter got closer to get its facial expression, it was clear from the dog’s eyes that it wasn’t going to let the reporter go.
It seemed like the pup was listening to the universe, whispering a secret into its ear: it and the reporter were destined for each other.
They had a connection and simply nobody could deny it. Including the reporter. So, he did the only thing that was appropriate in a situation like this. He adopted the sweet dog, giving it a loving forever home. Luckily for us, the video appeared on the Internet and we got to enjoy the precious new beginning.

why does it say "Allegedly " adopted ? Did they or didn't they ???
The encounter between the reporter and the dog was filmed by several people, but no one has footage of the reporter walking out the door with the dog. I could not find the reporter’s name or the name of the shelter. So adding “allegedly” acknowledges that there is no corroboration to the ending of this story. That being said, I choose to believe the pupper got a Happily Ever After!

Rather strange, that there was no conformation about the adoption, perhaps the reporter wanted privacy, they could have at least confirmed it, I prefer to believe that sweet pup was adopted, as it is said, often the pup, or kitten chooses the right one !!!
Tami, don't cry and help animals also. If you are unable to adopt yourself, please support a reputable animal protection organization(s) please do something, there is a lot animal suffering everywhere in the world, animals suffer immensely and needlessly in the hands of cruel sub-human monsters.

The way the guy does not really interact much with the dog does not look too me like he will adopt her.
"Until you have been loved by an animal, you will never truly understand unconditional love." I think that we humans are incapable of such love; our love is very much so conditioned, 'What's in it for me?'

How beautiful! What a sweet pupper. She just looks like she never wants to let him go. Her adorable little face breaks my heart. I am so glad the reporter loved her back and adopted her. She obviously needed a home and he probably found that he needed her too. I hope they live happily ever after!
How can anyone ever deny being chosen by an animal? Im gonna chose to believe that they are happy together on the couch enjoying snuggles.
