Cat Rescued From Terrible Conditions Now Sleeps In Her Tiny Doll Bed Each And Every Night
Meet Sophie, the rescue kitten who gets to sleep in her own miniature version of a human bed with rotating sets of sheets, comforters, and even a mini crocodile plushie. Life hasn’t always been so sweet and comfy for this fur ball. When she was around 3 years old, the kitty was rescued from a hoarding situation. Her previous owner would keep her and a ton of other animals in small cages, one cat on top of the other… So, it’s no surprise that when she got adopted by Christiana Viscusi and her partner, all this sweet and loving cat wanted to do was to be with her human parents all the time – especially at night.
Every night, as soon as her mom would head off to bed, the kitty would go on top of the dresser to sleep. “I tried to see if she would sleep in our bed but she insisted on always sleeping on the dresser,” Christiana Viscusi, Sophie’s mom, told The Dodo. “So after a few nights I cleared off the dresser and put her bed there. She’s been going up to her bed when we go to bed ever since.”
“She gets up only once around 3 a.m. for a snack, then heads back up to her bed until my alarm goes off in the morning.” Viscusi added: “She sleeps there the entire night all tucked in.”

So sorry for that poor kitty. She is so adorable!!!! What I wouldn't give for my cats to sleep in
This story and the photos are so sweet. After a dreary day of making funeral arrangements, i really needed some pictures of sweet cats in hats. Thank you for rescuing this beauty and giving her a happy life. The bunny hat is too adorable! Love this post
PLEASE READ Sophie is actually now in hospital (I read it on instagram yesterday). She had something trapped inside her. I don't know the details but she had to have emergency surgery and is now in critical care. I am NOT making ANY of this up, an account I follow/saw are friends with this cat's family (or instagram account) and they were asking for prayers. If you want to help Sophie, go to her instagram page and the link in her bio goes to a page where you can donate. An update her owners posted a few days ago said if she hasn't improved within 24 hours her condition will be taken a lot more seriously and may even be concluded as fatal.
The cat looks cute even as an adult! The bunny ears are especially cute. ;)
That cat is super cute, but a 3 year old (at least) is not a kitten! It's a grown up cat. Just as cute, but grown up.
This story makes my day, I have a cat of my own and she sleeps where ever the heck she wants... She was a rescue and hates going outside. Her name is Mud, she is my baby...
Perhaps somebody is reading this. Sophie is very ill at the moment and struggles with her life. Please keep her in your thoughts.
She could sleep on my head if she wants after the life she led !!
Love the pictures and all the different covers. Such an adorable loved cat. Kudos to this mommy for spoiling/loving her.
When you realize this cat was never been in a hoarding situation in the first place.
what a wonderful life this baby has now and the blankets and hat and toys so adorable thank you for loving her so much
STOP dressing the cat up in those stupid things, it is an animal not a human baby.
