Woman On Twitter Is Asking For $10 To Edit Out Your Ex From Photos And People Post The Results
Do you have a cute picture of yourself from a vacation that you’d love to boast about, but it’s ruined by a looming, negative presence with an arm around your waist? The great community of Twitter has you covered, with one user offering to edit your ex out of pictures for a price.
This clever businesswoman originally advertised the service for $10, but her tweet went viral and within a few days, demand was so high that she had to bump her prices up to $15. People in the replies are thanking her for working her magic, which she says she does on her phone, taking that person they’d rather forget out of the picture and creating the illusion that they’re confidently posing solo at the beach or in a photo booth.

In all seriousness, it can probably be done with any photo editing app with a clone stamp tool (that is, a tool that copies a piece of the background and repeats it,) although how believable the final result is depends on how much background you have available to work with in the original picture, and how much detail you’re willing to put in to avoid repeating large or noticeable patterns.
Even if someone notices there’s something off about the background of your pic, though, most people would just have to give you an A for audacity. So go ahead, get your chump of an ex savagely wiped out of your old pics and own it. Science hasn’t figured out how to do it to your memories in real life yet, after all.

My thoughts exactly! The point of taking a picture is to be able to look at it later and remember the feeling of the moment it was taken. Everytime I looked at the picture, I'd still have the negative feelings remembering the ex was there.

I love shopping people or objects out of a photo. It takes a bit of skill to recreate the background scenery. It's also amazing what Adobe photoshop can do automatically.
I got you. I have had some requests to take people out (no ex's) and is a challengue sometimes trying to make some background where there is nothing. Haven't done it in a while cause my job is too demanding now, but always have 5 mins spare to mess up with my friends facebook photos XD

If you think she's ripping off her clients, then clearly you must have skipped the part where they were satisfied. I can relate to this, having had requests of un-invited people and random l wedding crashers edited out of pictures. I don't have an issue with this.
I have one picture that I would totally send her. Went to a super nice restaurant for my 30th birthday with my bf at the time. After, I got someone to take a pic of us. I look great in it. My abusive manipulative ex looks like he's being tortured, like he would rather be literally anywhere else doing anything else. Like he's some emo pre-teen at a family gathering or something. I can't over-exaggerate the expression that he has in the picture. I've thought of finding someone to photo shop some random celeb's face on his body
I would rather be slimmed down in family pics. Such as family weddings.
You get what you pay for which is 10 dollars, you'd be looking at the photoshopped pic at a glance and not using a microscope to look at every detail.

These are very average quality, really. I can see what I've learned from doing this kind of thing. The clone brush tool is good but you need to work on the area so it doesn't look like an exact part from somewhere else in the picture. I'd give her 6/10. Room for improvement.
Yes these are done very, very poorly. If it's good enough for the people who made then it's all good. Your client's opinion is the only one that really matters. For the record, the one with the gold curtain is the worst. She wasn't even trying with that one. She really does need to brush (stamp?) up her skills if she's advertising to the general public.
