What an incredible man. I wish I could be half the man he was, and do a fourth of the things he did.

Heck - a tenth of what he did - and no fame at all - I'd still take it! :D

RIP Stan. You will be missed. He was smarter in 1968 than republicans are today. He’s the real MVP; or should I say, the real superhero?

Isn't lumping and judging all Republicans as one catagory a perfect example of the bigotry Mr. Lee was speaking out aganst?

Relevant but if you think bigotry is worse today than in 1968 you weren't around back then.

The One Above All is now Under. I believe God is happy with the universe you've created. Rest in Peace Stan Lee.

Peace and Justice. A Latin phrase that should be stated more often. I wish all sides of today's political spectrum would take to heart his words penned in 1968. Too many vilify the Christians, too many vilify the Muslims, too many vilify the Jews, too many vilify the believers and too many vilify the atheists. Every group does this in one way or another, White on Black, Black on White, male on female and female on male. Can we not understand that our blood is red, and all of our DNA is the same. Not one of us are less or more than the others. We are all Human and we must all become one to save ourselves from ourselves.

Men often only see the bigotry, discrimination and bias that affects other men.

There are some that actually seriously propose that being racist is a mental illness. Being prejudiced seems like human nature (but one we always strive to rise above). But actually being racist does sound like a mental illness to me. It's irrational and counterproductive.

I agree about his remarks on racism, whichever avenue it's coming from. He made the grade in life, but I'm curious if he were ever sidelined despite his talent and imagination due to quotas based on gender or race how he would he feel about it? Perhaps we may never have heard of the great Stan Lee.

What on earth are you on about? He basically created his own industry. What quotas?

And yet, we still do not learn. And I point my finger at all extremists; left and right, religious zealots and militant secularists, you are all the problem.
