Bored Panda reached out to Em, the person behind "Catwheezie" to find out more about the recent updates and changes made to her creative workspace, as well as how she plans to shift her focus in light of the changes in social media trends. The cat artist replied, "Exciting stuff is happening over here at Catwheezieland! Got my new printer setup, new biz cards, the cricut is running again... Feeling in a good space mentally! I'm finishing up Twitter commissions, then opening them here (on Instagram).

Then will focus on making new art! thanks for your patience with the old stuff I've been posting for now! Apparently photos, specifically carousel posts and in and reels are out. Just when I was starting to make a lot of reels! But hey I guess that's good news for us artists!" She shared.

As an artist, Em, who goes by the name "Catwheezie," knew from the start that she wanted to draw cats every day. However, it wasn't until some time later that she was able to develop her own unique style. She explains, "Before I found my unique artistic voice, I experimented with creating super cartoony cats." Despite the initial challenge, Em remained dedicated to her craft and continued to explore different techniques and styles until she was able to arrive at her current approach.

Looking back at her earlier work, Em reflects on the evolution of her art over time, saying, "It's fun to see how my art has evolved and how I've honed my skills over time." Through this journey, Em has learned that sometimes it takes time and experimentation to discover one's true passion and develop a personal style. She emphasizes the importance of staying dedicated to the creative process and being patient with oneself, saying, "I've learned that the creative process is an ongoing journey, and it's important to trust the process and to not give up when things don't immediately come together."

Reflecting on her recent creative pursuits, Emily explained that for a whole week in February, she had made it a nightly routine to set aside some time to practice spinning yarn on her drop spindle. She had received the spindle as a birthday gift the previous month, and since then, she had been dedicated to improving her spinning skills.

I don’t think the drawing is angry enough. Beautiful artwork, but the actual cat is definitely more p!ssed off.
