Dad Comes Back From Prison After 22 Years And Goes Viral After Daughter Does A Happy Dance With Him For A TikTok
No matter how hard some people try to plan and control their lives, sometimes an unthinkable thing can happen and change the whole course of events, changing so many lives around. This is what happened to the dance fitness instructor Justine Lorance Tuckett. After being in prison for 22 years, her dad Bill Lorance was released and reunited with his family. The father-daughter duo became viral on TikTok where Justine shared a video of them both dancing and enjoying each other’s company after years of being apart.

The viral video with 16.5M views not only showed the father and the daughter dancing together but also revealed that after 22 years, Bill was released from prison. Soon people started raising questions about Bill’s past and wondered how their family managed to get through all of this. Seeing how much people were interested in their family situation, Justine and her father decided to openly share their experiences and answer some of the questions that the audience had for them on Justine’s Instagram account.

The daughter shared the idea behind the dance video. Once her father got out of prison, he wanted to do something with his kids (he also has a son named Jonathan). So, he thought it would be great to do something each of his kids love to do, and for Justine, it was dancing, since she is a dance instructor herself. In the video, the woman assured viewers that they “were just happy to see each other” and didn’t have any other intention than to just spend some time together and enjoy this time as much as possible.

Their family situation soon became interesting to a lot of people who divided into two camps: those who didn’t believe and even tried to shame Justine and her father for “showing off” while Bill took someone’s life and put other people through trauma and suffering. The man later elaborated more on what he did and honestly answered the questions about his mistakes of the past that led him to prison.

According to Bill, back in the day, before his imprisonment, he was known to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs, separated from his wife, living with his mother and stepdad. In 1999, Bill was sentenced to 25 years in prison for murdering his stepfather. He was then released from the institution this year, having been incarcerated for 22 years. This whole time, he kept in contact with his two kids until now, when Justine came to pick him up from prison.

The personal story that the Lorance family revealed also helped a lot of people who had to go through similar experiences. Their example showed to many that people who once made a bad decision can improve and become better people. In their life video “sessions,” the dad revealed how horrible he felt when he realized what he did during that time, 22 years ago, and how much effort he will have to put in in order to get his life straight.

I have a huge issue with this. I saw the first couple videos and they intentionally left out what he did. Like oh look here’s my dad dancing, here he eats an avocado, what fun! I googled and saw what he had done and I guess they eventually had to admit what he did. The facts are he murdered her grandmothers husband and would have the grandmother as well if she hasn’t fled. That the videos were done as a clickbait for views is just disgusting. I wonder how the murdered mans family must feel seeing this
Wow. "He did his time?" That person must not have ever had someone close to them murdered. Their time is eternal; the time for their loved ones feels eternal.
No amount of prison time will unmurder someone. He was tried, convicted, sentenced, and fulfilled his debt to society as decided by the legal system. Why not give him a chance to become a better person than the guy who was sent away for 25 years? Why not see if he can contribute positively to society and continue to atone for his mistakes? If there wasn't evidence that prison had changed him for the better, they wouldn't have let hm out three years early.
