Would you be able to recognize the logo of the paper company in Scranton used in the TV show The Office? Or the symbols of The Hogwarts Houses? If you said yes, you might be surprised to find yourself in a minority as the survey conducted by signs.com shows that these are some of the least recognized logos in today's pop culture. But what are the most famous logos?

The custom signage company has already impressed us a month ago (see the post here) when they announced the results of a social experiment on the recognizability of popular logos. This time they turned to the media, logos of films, TV, and video games and asked over 1000 participants of different age groups to find out which popular culture imagery is the most memorable.

"We're visual creatures," states the company and reminds us that we remember 80 percent of what we see, 20 percent of what we read, and only 10 percent of what we hear. That is why it is important to create cool logos and memorable images in order to make a recognizable story.

We are positive that you will be able to recognize the most popular company logos and signs, but be sure to take time and test out your knowledge when it comes to the lesser-known logos too, maybe you'll do better than the majority. Let us know how well did you do in the comments.

Ok I want to know who 24% of the people thought and spider and WW symbol were for, I mean even if you aren't a superhero fan you know who Spiderman and Wonder Woman are.

I don't watch GOT, so I have no idea what this is about... but... I like how the percentage is reflected by the length of the banners.

Poor House Tyrell! I believe their house sigil was lost, at least in the TV series, because the amount of times that they spent mingling with the Lannisters and Baratheons, and I don't think they really show them traveling with there House banners or even wearing there Sigil with there clothes like all the other houses.

How can people NOT recognize the triforce? If you mention "The Legend of Zelda" (or anything like that) to me, the first thing I think of is the triforce. It's so iconic!

It's interesting how people born in the different decades recognize such different things from the others. Their pop culture intake has been lessened or expanded depending on when they were born.

Seriously? The star fleet sign is LOW?? Actually, nevermind. I just remembered that 3 days a go girls in my class were adamant that Star Trek copied the Vulcan emoji symbol. (🖖) I had to explain that Star Trek is 50 years old.

I think this is not so surprising if you look at the age of when video games evolved and who propably played them in their teens/tweens
