For some, porcelain dolls are eerie creations found in horror movies, such as Annabelle. And yet, they usually play a huge role in one's childhood and even elicit nostalgic memories later on in life. Whether it's a ragdoll or a sophisticated Barbie, many people, even as adults, remember their dolls, and there are still those who count them as collectibles.
Eight years ago, Russian couple Anastasiya and Sergey Lutsenko began creating magnificent life-like dolls that astonish with their realism and detailed exterior. It might have slipped through your mind but we actually shared a post with their unique art back in 2017.
Graduates in classical art, Anastasiya and Sergey say they are inspired by people who stand out from the crowd. And since they started working with realistic dolls, they have never repeated a model, believing that each creation is unique.
So don't waste any more time, scroll down and see the beautiful art for yourself!

Why are y'all hating. There are some black people out there who have big blue eyes! YouTube Cydnee Black is an example. Plus they're realistic enough... They're creating art not robots haha
eerie how these artists can put so much emotion into such a small figure.
MammaG instead of looking at flaws, why don't you appreciate the beauty, craftsmanship, and hard work these peoples had to do to make this intricate doll? I'd like to see you do that
me walkin out of my house realizing i forgot my phone, keys and backup egg
im sorry i love these but i glimpsed it and thought it was a mullet
first image is me going out for a girls night then seeing my cat destroy my house
Go away Karin those are freckles and for your information we with freckles love them and don't care what you think
The dolls are beautiful the costumes amazing, the only fault I find is with the lips. These girls look dehydrated!!
Wow! Amazing craftsmanship. And I think it's really cool that this doll has abs! <3
This one seems like she has an ethereal sadness about her. Still absolutely lovely though!
Hi i m from India Can I know to whom shuld i contact for these dolls maker
So here's my problem with these. While they are extremely beautiful - every single one of them - they almost all have this vacant/sad expression. Only #30 and maybe #62 seem to have some kind mind behind their eyes. It's of a piece with the view of women as being primarily decorative.
With all respect, same has been said for Barbie - the ever smiling beautiful blonde fashionista. I get your point, and I noticed their tired expressions too, and kinda thought the same. But then, these are pieces of art and the artist's own choice. Maybe smiling faces are more difficult to produce...
Load More Replies...Remember people, they are artistic impressions and so there's no requirement for them to be proportioned like human or have true human expressions. They are spectacularly well made and so beautiful IMO. I collect BJD and other kinds of dolls.
Everyone is talking about the beautiful realism and proportions and whatnot but no one has mentioned THE CLOTHES?!!! Oh my word, as someone who sews, those are the works of a god themselves. WOW! The detail is amazing and every one of them is so clean it looks like it was made by someone who really know what they were doing!! And that's not even counting in the design!!! Amazing!! Every one of them is so original and so gorgeous and looks so awesome like they could be in the Hunger games parade!!! Wow wow wow!!
I noticed that too. NOt only perfectly crafted dolls (a little too perfect, like tiny creepy humans), but their stype is perfect, hairstyles, clothes, and not only making those tiny clothes, but designing them too. There are several arts and crafts needed for this piece of art.
Load More Replies...Wow, Barbie needs to up her game. These are really beautiful, but I do agree with some of the criticisms.
They are pretty dolls, they thing I don't like about them is there bodies the ribs stick out and they have no belly.
It takes an incredible skill to be able to make a doll so lifelike it actually does not trigger the uncanny valley response. These are so well crafted, posed so well and dressed so beautifully - they really look alive. I do wonder - if there are any male dolls as well? The life-likeness of these dolls reminds me of a game I played a while ago, called "Nameless - The one thing you must recall"...
I feel like these dolls are like women photographed whilst daydreaming or lost in thought. I actually enjoy their expressing quite a bit!
@Dawn Reyes may I please have the name of this Canadian doll maker? I am currently absolutely obsessed with the works of Popovy sisters.
Very nice! These are all beautifully done. The photography is wonderful, as well.
Nice art work, but I keep wondering why some of the doll face is full of black dot/acne. What material it use ?
They are not realistic by any means. They are probably well made but they look more like sexualized objects than dolls. After seeing a few I felt utterly repulsed by them.
THEN DON'T READ THROUGH THE WHOLE POST! It's like you just came here to get attention lol
