I hate that we can do this for our 4 legged family when treatment fails, but when a human has a fatal illness that progresses past available treatment we just pump them full of pain meds to the point t they don't even know what's going on

My first fur baby died quickly & unexpectedly, she was 8, had a heart attack & died in my arms, worst day of my life, so far. I'm so sorry, but I'm glad that now he is pain free.

I loved finding out that most veterinarians will come to your house for a small extra fee. It was worth it to have my pets enjoy their last moments at home with me feeding them shaved ham while they went to sleep. Good luck to you both- the love lasts forever.

I'm so sorry 😞. My mom's dog had cancer and had to be put to sleep. He was only 7 years old. I took her to the vet and stayed with her during it for moral support, plus i knew she would be far to distraught to drive afterwards...... it was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. At least we know he had a good life and was loved like he was her own child.
