And one TikTok creator named Knowledgesaurus has been stripping away the mystery surrounding it in a series of “How Rare Is Your Body?” videos. From explaining what percentage of people have features like cracked tongue, angled palm crease, or an extra rib, to counting how many people have the ability to write with both their right and left hands, or can make a clover out of their tongue.

The informative and fun videos gained Knowledgesaurus immediate popularity with millions of views and 1.3M followers, so let’s see some of the most interesting body facts that will pump your biology knowledge muscle so you can show it off in the next trivia session.

I wish I was one of those people. I have had two removed and the other two are problematic but the maxilofacial surgeon says its too risky to removed. I will likely either have numbness or pain for the rest of my life because they are extremely complicated and the roots are intertwined with the nerves and roots of the teeth next to them. Yay for me lol.

My wisdom teeth never grew in, and neither did my bottom molars. My dentist told me that eventually I will have to have my top molars filed down and wanted to do it right away. Asked him when it will start to affect anything and he said in 10 years or more. I decided I would deal with it then, if it was ever necessary. Filing teeth sounded awful!

Are you saying 35% never had them, or had them pulled? I've never heard of anyone never having them, but lots of people have them pulled because they frequently push the rest of the teeth forward as you get older.

Given science's history with evolutionary human anatomy, its more correctly phrase, "we do not know wisdom teeth's purpose." the appendix and tonsils were once considered vestigial, and then we learned that while you can live without them, they serve a function. wisdom teeth may well be the same way.

I've not got any wisdom teeth. Dentist was pretty amazed when I had my first x-ray, I was his first patient who didn't have any, not even buds.

The same as all the other teeth - our jaws developed into smaller sizes and the wisdom teeth are leftovers from the times we had more space in our mouths

I don't have any and I used to wish that I had them. I used to think they would have helped to close the gaps in my teeth (push my teeth forward from the back) the dentist laughed when she heard my theory. I was 14 XD

I don't know why they laughed. I had my top ones removed and my top teeth are fine. My bottom teeth are horribly crowded, but the bottom wisdom teeth couldn't be removed.

Why does it need correcting? Isn't it just a cosmetic difference? Shouldn't it be up to the child to keep it or change it once they're old enough to make the decision, as long as it isn't impacting their hearing?
