Did you ever notice that the brain tends to retain the most random information instead of the one you actually need? For instance, how come I can recite Baby Got Back word by word, but can't possibly force my brain to remember my postcode? I'm sure I'm not the only one and this thread that recently went viral on Twitter proves just that. When one person asked, "What’s the most random fact you know?", people delivered. Some of the facts are lesser-known than the others, some you may have heard already - nonetheless, we still found them quite amusing to read. So, the people here at Bored Panda have made you a list of 45 random, but interesting facts that people shared on Twitter. Scroll down below to see all the entries and tell us in the comments below what's the most random fact that you know!

I’m not saying there aren’t extremely strong women out there and good for them, but this post is nonsensical. So one woman in one weight class is stronger than the strongest man in that same weight class. IN ONE CLASS. The strongest men in the world generally weigh 300-400 pounds. By the poster’s logic if a woman got to that size she’d be as strong or stronger. It’s simply not correct and it’s not sexist to say so...

Just walking into the room where I had the thought usually does it for me. Generally, the reason that something in the room was reminding me to get/do something in the first place. I might forget what when I enter a different room, but when I walk back (normally, not backwards) the reason is still there and I'm reminded again.

Statistically, the average human as approximately one boob and one testicle. Gentle reminder to not believe any average you see! Good analysis of data requires far more than blind calculations of standard equations...

Maybe that's why a group of crows is called a Murder?

I knew of this one. Especially against other crows. When I was younger, a murder of crows were "holding court" above the car my mom was driving me in. Suddenly all of them rushed at one big crow, like how Caesar was killed. I watched it fall dead. That crow must have pissed of a lot of birds...

Crows can also recognize people by their faces and have amazing memories. They are actually smarter then dogs if it came down to it. It's a scientific fact.

They also remember faces! I think it was the U of Oregon who did a study about ten years ago. They had one of the participants being a jerk to the crows, who didn't forget and would dive bomb him every time he was in the area.

Yup. A young girl would leave food out for the crows on her back deck. When they realized she was the source of the bounty, they started leaving little thank you gifts of shiny things, or bits of stuff the crows found interesting. Bits of coloured plastic, a toy soldier, string, a lost earring, a bead, etc. The girl kept them all and eventually photographed them. The family eventually moved, and the girl wonders how the crows feel about her disappearance. I wonder if she'll start feeding the crows at her new place. :-)

I remember watching a documentary about crows. In it, researchers conducted experiments using face masks and realized they can recognize faces. They'll warn other crows about a-hole humans as well.

They are also capable of lying. Sometimes one will call out a danger cry so all the rest will fly away. But there is no danger, only something delicious to eat...

Yes, they do. And they will remember your face, so if you choose to p**s them off wear the mask of someone of you don't like.

They also recognise people who are kind, and will bring their babies to introduce each other. * Best to provide water only. Bread is bad for them. Unless you do some research.

I was in class yesterday and I saw a crow outside. So I got up, pointed out the window, and yelled "Look at him go! He a beaut'!! Oooh he struttin'!!!!!" And instead of making me leave the room, my teacher made me write and essay on crows, and photograph crows I find around the city. That was the most effort I've ever put into a project.

...Not only do they hold grudges, but they teach their flock to hold that grudge down through a couple generations before the memory fades.

How exactlly do they teach other crows to remember someones face?? It is impossible , I think.. They do not have a language and/or enough "words" to describe someone`s identity.. Please DO EXPLAIN HOW CROWS TEACH EACH OTHER AND DO THAT THRU GENERATIONS??

These are poorly shared "Random facts". I don't know a single person who knows about crows, and doesn't already know this.

In Britain, most foods are exempt from the value-added tax, but potato chips — known as crisps — and “similar products made from the potato, or from potato flour,” are taxable. However, it was decided that Pringles are exempt from the tax, mainly because they have less potato content than a potato chip.
