However, in some cases, we experience a more severe kind of infuriation that is beyond mild. You can blame anything from a car that won’t start, annoying flight passengers sitting right next to you, a surprise call from tax inspection, a morning that started on the wrong foot, or yourself, it doesn’t change anything.

One day my son, who doesn't know his own strength, broke the doors on his bathtub. I found out as his sister, then five, was trying to sweep up two inches of broken glass in her slippers so he wouldn't get in trouble. He didn't, but I told her that was a job for a grown up. And went to a great deal of trouble to replace the doors with acrylic.
My roommate's ex left a razor in our shower, and one evening it fell and cut his toe. He got it fixed up, went to bed. I woke up the next morning and went to use the toilet and almost puked at the blood in the shower. I had to clean it up myself. I get that it was an emergency, but a little warning would have been appreciated. A note on the door maybe.
That's just so rude - it would have taken him less than 5 minutes to run the shower & wash the blood away. I can see why he's an ex!

Happens quite frequently, but at least the safety glass did its job and didn't break into big shards. Happened to a friend of ours and we had a problem replacing the screen, so made a semi-permanant one out of perspex. This one looks more problematic, as it has no frame at all.
It mostly happens when the tempered glass is a fixed piece - it has to be installed perfectly straight & with no stress point anywhere. If it's not, a break like this will eventually happen.

I HATE that flowers by the thousands are sent to the royal funerals. If people REALLY loved Diana and The Queen, money should be sent to their favorite charities. Flowers end up in the garbage. People need help every day. Money should be sent to ANY charity. And the royals take care of themselves.
The flowers ended up as composting so no wastage there. Also flowers are seen as a mark of respect at funerals. Also, it's work for florists and plant sellers after a very difficult couple of years.
