29 Times People Spotted Infuriating Things That Drove Them So Mad, They Just Had To Share The Frustration
It’s just part of human nature when things infuriate us all of a sudden. There’s even this whole phenomenon known as “Mildly Infuriating” and we previously wrote about it here, here and here.
However, in some cases, we experience a more severe kind of infuriation that is beyond mild. You can blame anything from a car that won’t start, annoying flight passengers sitting right next to you, a surprise call from tax inspection, a morning that started on the wrong foot, or yourself, it doesn’t change anything.
This subreddit “Infuriating” is a safe place to talk about your infuriation, so no wonder its 10.1k members have already taken that opportunity.

Women, don't forget that men have sex with the same organ we pee with. I mean how gross is that? The hole where the ejaculate comes out is the same hole that we pee out of. When you see some neck beard incel walking down the street, thinking that he's better than you, just laugh, and remind him of how vile he is that he uses his urethra to also convey semen into his socks. NOTE: don't actually do this, incels are dangerous

Why Can't Hollywood Get It Through Their Skulls That The Military Doesn't Wear Hats Indoors?!?!?
Movies and shows are never true to life. If they were the movie Hackers would've been a bunch of teenagers making homophobic jokes, and starring at command line interfaces.
Not to mention the movies would be MUCH longer for each and every hacking scene
Load More Replies...I watched a tv show the other day, the army uniforms appeared to be very correct but - the full bird colonel was jealous of the captain because the captain always got picked for the good jobs and promotions. Colonels and captains are not in competition for the same jobs and as a colonel, he won the promotions game by far.
Omg thank you! This one drives me nuts too. Plus when they salute on a flight line or indoors when not reporting to a superior officer.
Salute and cover rules are a little different branch to branch. I know the navy never salutes when uncovered, but I've heard there are some occasions when army will
Load More Replies...My dad was in the mitary for 32 years and it drove him crazy watching NCIS. He loved the show but couldn't understand why they didn't research how the uniforms were supposed to be worn. He'd hurumph during every episode. Lol
They do wear headwear inside, but not routinely. It is sometimes done by some or all of the people participating in a ceremony or performance.
I am forbidden from watching medical shows because I may have gone a bit rabid a few times at all of the glaring inaccuracies!
Load More Replies...Depends on the location when to wear your cover can be confusing. Even twenty years ago 'No Covers Worn Indoors' was largely ignored for interior corridors and auditoriums for large formations. The base commander usually will specify in any Standing Orders for the area.
Ex-Navy here. Goddam that has pissed me off for decades. Only one thing is worse: Saluting without the proper headdress. Some nations are different, but not in the Commonwealth.
But might that be Karen Gillan? There's enough of a resemblance that maybe we are yelling at Hollywood when this is the bbc? Or not, it's been a long, long time...
Load More Replies...I'm in the CAP, the USAF Auxiliary, and I'm the First Sergeant of my squadron. The three most common things I say after a bunch of new cadets join? "Don't salute an officer indoors!" "Don't wear your [hat] indoors!" "I'm not an officer, don't salute me!"
On the opposite side, I saw a show recently where a woman dressed in navy dress uniform walked outside and didn't put her hat (actually called a cover) on.
10 years with the Marines and 24 with the airlines and I can't watch a show/movie about either without picking them apart.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, while a great show, isn't something you want to use as real-life research.
Well they are called covers and there are a few times we wear them indoors. Being part of a color guard is one, being armed is another.
Same way surgeons never take their mask off in the operating room ....
Firstly, military do not wear "hats" .... but, wear covers. There are a few exceptions, nut the most important one is if the soldier is under arms (on duty - such as an MP) they will remained "covered"
For the same reason the only people who know the difference between prison/parole and jail/probation, are the people who’ve been there. Jail-you know when you are going home. Prison sentencing is way different.
There are exceptions to that rule. For example, some commanders will require a sailor or soldier to keep their cover on if they are in a 'common' area of a building (such as a large building's lobby), while others commanders require the cover removed the moment someone enters any building. It shows that someone doesn't understand military rules, and command decisions whey they say things like "you always remove your cover/hat".
From what I've been told(after picking apart uniforms in the old tv show "Major Dad"), they literally can't be exact, something has to be incorrect on the uniform in order for them to be able to portray service members. I don't remember the whole thing, but you SHOULD find something wrong with every military uniform in a movie or tv show.
True you do not wear your cover indoors. It got drummed into us in basic.
I could be wrong, but I thought if movies / TV are showing military branches, then they have to not portray it 100% accurate (I don't remember the reason for this). Am I incorrect in that statement?
It is illegal to represent one's self as a member of the armed forces including copying the uniform. However, the uniform can be copied minus a significant feature like a unit patch. It would be less egregious than miss representing rank, which is common in tv and movies.
Load More Replies...But how would we know they're in the military if they don't wear hats?!?! (sarcasm)
As far as I know, properly replicating a military or government uniform even for film is a crime or is frowned upon in many countries. So the costumes are aways sort of like the real deal but not exactly like it. Like they may change the number of buttons or the pocket alignment so that its not the same.
In the US we have army surplus stores that sell uniforms, insignia, even medals. It's possible that they look fake when you get up close, but from what I've seen just looking around one, they're fairly convincing. And yes, I was in the US military. And no the hat thing never annoyed. People over salute in movies too, but you have to make things look dramatic.
Load More Replies...Oh, they don´t? Wow, something important learnt today... not! Movies are movies, how deep must the stick in your rear end sit to be bothered by such a inconsequential detail?
Wow, what a ray of sunshine you are. Some details matter more to some than others. Accept, and be grateful, that people are different from you.

I HATE that flowers by the thousands are sent to the royal funerals. If people REALLY loved Diana and The Queen, money should be sent to their favorite charities. Flowers end up in the garbage. People need help every day. Money should be sent to ANY charity. And the royals take care of themselves.
The flowers ended up as composting so no wastage there. Also flowers are seen as a mark of respect at funerals. Also, it's work for florists and plant sellers after a very difficult couple of years.
