The Quokka, an irrestistibly adorable and happy-looking marsupial native to Australia, is now at the epicenter of what is possibly the cutest trend we've ever seen – the Quokka selfie.
Due to their 'vulnerable' status in the IUCN Red List, handling these critters is a crime, but they are not afraid of humans and will readily approach them, so taking a selfie with one shouldn't be too difficult. And given how happy they always looks, it's almost like they like the attention!

Why does the gentleman in the lower middle part of the photo look like he's hungry? Bahahaha. "Please don't eat the quokka, sir".

I wouldn't take a selfie if it got that close, I'd snatch it up and take it home!

Heheh..god bless them! In other words..I WANT ONE.! Don't you????
I love them so much. They're not only cute but they have such a warm, friendly expression. Lucky people!
They are not pets. They are unique and have no other home. They have no natural enemies on the island and as such are unafraid. Let them be.
Unfamiliar with the animal they are clearly not afraid of people. Aussies are likely keeping them as pets. LOVELY
They look like our Dassies (aka Rock Hyrax) in South Africa. Our Dassies are timid creatures though.
Gorgeous&its far better than trying to murder&maime them, right?
