40 Times People Posted Screenshots Of Complete BS Being Called Out
Whether they crave internet points or run out of arguments in a heated discussion, some people BS way too much. But the overwhelming amount of lies shouldn't discourage us from calling them out. On the contrary. Think of it as herd immunity: the population is protected from a disease (a fake narrative) after vaccination (a response) by stopping the germ responsible for the infection being transmitted between people (destroying that absurd fantasy with facts).
There's even a whole subreddit dedicated to this noble quest, /r/quityourbullshit. With over 1.3M members, it accumulated a large collection of screenshots and images of people calling out BS, delivering burns so big, they might just set your screen on fire.

Just remove the first sentence and “However, please, remember”. Tighter messaging with no distractions, focused on the point you want to make. You don’t need to show you are smart/savvy before you say something hopeful. Just be hopeful.
How about not correcting everyone just to make yourself look better. Just take the comment as is. We're not all English/grammar Nazi's.
While it is easy to dismantle most lies noawadays, it has become so easy to create them. And sensationalist sharing seemingly legitimates them. The only cure is to be vigilant. And to punish those who spread lies with no further attention. Imagine everyone doing it... Populists and their media appearances would disappear in no time.

I was looking g for them too. About 1/4 of these are anti-vax comments.
I specifically came looking for that banana post too. (I'm an anti-slavery activist, so I was alarmed to see this as an example of a fake picture, as that would discredit our movement.) Also, yeah - as much as I hate anti-vaxxers, too many posts on the exact same topic gets a bit samey...
Having to lie on social media already shows that some of these people have some serious issues and then the extent some go to to lie is a problem in and of itself. If you are anti vaxxer that is your choice, but please stop using debunked information to justify your stance. Claiming certain political views is fine, but know what you are talking about before you start ranting. My point is no matter how you believe there is a right and a wrong way to express your opinion.
